So refreshing to see such a successful owner and team, find the time out of your busy lives to provide authentic value to the community! You won't find much of this anywhere else on this platform😅 Appreciate you guys!
Super interesting hearing how you found copy writing then evolved back into E-com. Great recommendation by Giulio. I've just started reading The One Thing, and it's really making me question how I approach prioritisation.
This video was super valuable the thing about getting ugc creators together in a group is gold I work at an agency and spend half my time coming up w/ideas + script writing + finding creators so that tip is a real-time saver. It would be great if you guys could make another more in-depth video about creative (Also love what you guys are doing it's so refreshing to have a voice in the ecom space that doesn't follow the ecom bro mentality)
This is awesome guys! Really enjoyed watching this. Always love the vibe with background music. And what a great way to see countries across the globe!
Found this channel at the perfect time. My mom ran a brick and mortar shop that opened in 2020. We just had to close down due to costs. I finally convinced my mother to switch to Ecom rather than just fulling giving up and shes agreed to let me run all of it. Since I was 16 it’s been my dream to build a Ecom brand. I’ve built 5 brands on shopify that I never could take anywhere as I was a broke college kid, but now I have this chance to run a business that already has customers and inventory + a boss to keep us on track. This video has literally been a blessing. And there’s so many videos I can’t keep up! What a great problem to have lol. Thanks for being a fountain of wisdom for other people trying to make it in this space.
From the first video I watched, I instantly became a regular viewer of this channel. It's refreshing to see such a genuine approach to the ecom space. It feels deep and inspiring. One question I've been curious about is team building, as it is one of the things that inspires me the most about your content and this whole journey. The idea of spending my days with people who inspire me and collaborating to create an amazing business. I'd love to hear more about how you met the people you work with, the roles they have on the team, how the team is structured, and why you chose that structure. Thanks for the great content and for sharing your journey!
Thanks so much Diego! Really appreciate your kind words. There have been a few requests about team building and collabing with people you love - so we will do a video on it soon no doubt
Thanks for answering my question! And I love the Skyscanner Roulette game at 16:33. Definitely sprinkle in some of your travel stories in future vlogs.
@@EcomSoup for a video, could you explain your team and what everyone's role is & how they work together? I'm at the stage of desperately needing to grow our team...
Thank you for taking the time to get to our questions. I just got back from Thailand and felt the same waste problem as Bali. We've introduced a waste sorting system into our glamping business to educate people about recycling.
@@EcomSoup It has been interesting so far to see how some people totally neglect it and others engage and take the time. Any waste sorted is better than none and we will keep tweaking the experiment to find what works.
This was such a dense content, i almost took notes on everything. maybe it's my lack of experience, but most things sounds new to me. thanks, i learned a lot. what fascinate me was how everyone is just with the right skill at the right time, and the story of how everyone got there is probably even more Fascinating. David was put into circumstances that leads him to fb ads, were trying to handle everything, but eventually pivots to only master one skill that he can't stop recommending about "copywriting" 🤣 I heard you give Scott a title of weed king, that was definitely not a smooth track to ecom. must've a pretty wild story behind it. and then harry. is harry the blonde girl that was working for 5$ dollar per hour? must've been another wild back story. and then Robyn, apparently not part of the initial team, but recently said she is aiming for the "throne" jokingly said. how did you guys meet anyway, in the bar? her prev job? i mean, with this much story, theresa can probably create one movie for sure 🤣 i actually have a lot of follow ups questions, the cost structure, the buyers persona discovery, testing method, landing pages, but i believe there'll be video later anyway. i'll keep in touch. Thanks for this episode soup. Cheers from Indonesia.
Damn - legendary comment yet again. Glad you found value in it. Harri is the blonde girl that worked for $5 an hour. Theres a lot of stories to cover over the next few weeks. Hopefully we can do them justice. Thanks again for watching pan!
@@EcomSoup I would say consumer psychology or brand identity side of things. Dropshipping is where I’m at now, so I want to be ready for the next step to build my brands and scale them.

So glad to hear that book is helping Jack!
Yep, it wasn’t until I got good at copy that I had sustainable ecom success

Any book recommendations for ecom? (I’ve read a couple, Sell Like Crazy, $100M Offers and that style)

You can build a real brand but use dropshipping model. I do it thisway
