This format never ceases to make me smile. Straight up impromptu wisdom, interspersed with indie movie cinematic shots.
I've totally just swiped half your email flows BTW

@@EcomSoup I like the toothbrush case flow from the pop up. The old school kind of “sales letter” approach is nice.
Your abandoned cart email with the “here’s why you should choose us” copy at the bottom is also great

Really been tryna rap my head around the essence of brand lately, I'd love to hear what you think about this definition .
A brand, in essence, is not materialized within a business itself, instead a brand is what a business is associated with as understood by the consumer. Within a business, brand, as a facet, is the position taken by the business regarding where it associates. Presented to the consumer through the mediums of product, media and UX/CX.
By extension, a brand’s value is defined by the valency between what the brand is subtly or directly associated with and the proponents defining the individualism of the understood consumer group the brand represents.

      Yup, 100%.
I've always loved this simple way of putting it:
"Your brand is what other people say about you when you're not in the room." - Al Ries
Luckily, we have the ability to control the inputs: the way we look, the things we say, and the things we do.
The goal is to keep them all in unison so you can own a clear place in the mind of the customer.

      Love both definitions.
I heard hormozi say that brand is like a bouquet of flowers… you can’t point to one thing that defines it.
In our journey we defined the principles of a world class brand…
I’ve been meaning to make the video but it’s a bit too ambitious for a daily video.
Thanks again for both comments and your support lads.

Love the content, constantly repeating videos to download those golden nuggets. Did have 1 question because I think I have that issue with perfection being avoidance. I am the beginning phases of testing various products and trying to find a winner to run with. What is the period of time I should be spending on testing a product with different ad variations/strategies, versus just scratching it and moving on to the next best option? My first month I spent $400 and 3 weeks on the same product just to get 1 sale because in my head I thought I haven't exhausted all options. What is the happy medium or is their?

      Thanks man, appreciate love.
There’s not really a fixed method to call it quits.
I’d say if you’re getting a high click through rate and lots of add to carts but not many sales… then keep on improving the offer.
If you’re not getting many clicks or add to carts, you might want to move on.

David!!! I love your videos brother, just found your channel about a week ago and glad i did.
The storytelling and value in these videos are just second to none.
Honestly you are THE hidden gem in youtube right now, so big ups to you and your team as well.
Most impactful vid for me has been the one where you've spoken about how you should embrace failure and know matter how much you learn you still have to go through it.
I have implemented this mindset and it's helped me a lot that is by far the most impactful video I have watched so thank you.
Long story short I'm 17 i have a agency that does about 1500-2500 per month and i only do cold calling for acquisition.
I have a few thousand saved up for ads but i'm unsure if it's pain avoidance for cold calling or if i want to do it to actually get more leverage. Maybe both lol.
I know it's not your niche now a days since your in ecom but i'm sure the principles are the same.
But what would you do in my position continue to cold call or start paid ads?

    • @EcomSoup
      @EcomSoup  3 месяца назад

Hey man! Thanks for the support 💙
I’d keep cold-calling and then slowly start with ads.
Not one or the other - set up some ads start small. And in the other hours of the day get to calling.
      That would be my strategy!
