Those are the wrong Borrani wheels for a 250 GTO. That car does not have front-laced wire wheels. The diameter is also wrong.

How did you prepare the plastic for the paint. I always seem to have issues with Zero Paints peeling off when I remove masking.

It’s a pretty realistic reproduction of the small block Chevy engine, including the actual intake and exhaust ports in the heads (better than the Francis engine models in this respect). The arrow on the bell housing points the wrong way, though. Contrary to the actual engine rotation and makes the radiator fan blow instead of pull.

They must’ve gone CHEAP to compensate for fed govt THEFT thru inflation of the $. My model in 1978 had an electric motor which made it rotate. I think it was mounted at the starter location.

OMG it's been so long but seeing the thumb I remembered this, I had one of these or something very similar. The whole model was clear including the tail. I was so proud of myself because everything worked back then. Vaguely recall having to trim or sand parts to make them fit or move right. Can't recall but like a lot of my old stuff it probably ended up as parts for my own 'custom' projects. I forget the term when you mash stuff together to make new air or space craft in model making. RIP mom and dad, you made a modest but safe home for an insular kid with a huge imagination. Great upload, great job on yours and thanks for the memories :)

Thank you. I forgot the placement of the camshaft relative to the crankshaft. It helped me to look at the model I made more than another engine.

How do I get the drawing plan for the walls?

I had one of the original issues and a few years ago one of the rear tires just turned into goo. I guess not every one was molded from the same batch of rubber. It wasn't easy to fit a passing replica on the assembled model either.

You did an excellent job! Very simple instructions and materials. Amazon has the wood needed in the sizes specified +/- 1,2" - and also sells doll house windows and doors. So, with that, I'm going to build this for the Ducati 1199 Panigale 1/12 I'm about to build! Maybe kick it up a notch with doll house tools, adding weathering. Thanks so much for this video!

Received one for x mas, last year, I finally finished it this week, but I added the working electric starter, and the working distributor and plugs, like the original one. Lots of trial and error, not possible without a 3D printer.

Where are the crankshaft supprts i cant find them?

Was so sad to see the WRX get modified, as I love them, but it came out great. I found the easiest way to make bullet holes was with a soldering iron. Can vary the tip, vary the depth, get some nice flashing from the melted plastic.
