I had one of the original issues and a few years ago one of the rear tires just turned into goo. I guess not every one was molded from the same batch of rubber. It wasn't easy to fit a passing replica on the assembled model either.
you did that well but its really a basic kit more a toy and checking ebay i am looking at circa 100 GBP delivered thats just way too expensive for what it is

nice job , i am doing the same model , one thing i noticed is , you have that blanking plate right where the starter motor should be ,
Thanks! I wish they would bring back this kit with new tooling so we could have a model with more detail and no battery hatches.
