Thanks for watching and for your question! That is Tamiya Black Panel Line Accent. The small brush is part of the screw on top. Very nice to work with and for this project...very effective.
Hello, I am new to this hobby and am trying this model. I do not have an airbrush and wondering if there is a Tamiya spray paint that would be good for this body. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Wow! Great job on the kit! What was the paint you used? Was it like Testors in an airbrush, or just spray paint? I ordered the kit but don’t really know all that much about the best paints and stuff to use
I never seen pictures with blue interior Deloreans. I know it's in the instruction manual of this Aoshima kit, but it's wrong. There is a lot not right with this kit, but there is also a lot good about this kit, if you know how to make it right. I was looking for a good Back to the Future car model for years, they never came. Yes, I think Hotwheels screwed it up. Sunstart doesn't make it right either... I see a lot of wrongs. But I made this model back in 1999 as my first model kit, and I seen a lot of potential with it, for me to be able to make the Delorean out of it that I always wanted. What would you change on yours now today if you had a chance to redo yours?

Hvae this kit but been holding off as those wires are just horrible, why they molded them into the body is beyond me. Been hoping someone puts out a resin piece you can glue there after sanding those nasty molded in ones off. I was toying with the idea to make a wire bundle from the colored wires and put them on this that way as well. Great looking kit I can't wait to start one day.

I can'twait for the new BTTF Deloreans to come out this year, Aoshima is also going to produce a factory stock Deloreans! Yay!!
Beautiful work my friend!
Thank you!
Fantastic job !!
Thank you!
This is my best movie what I watched, this kit's looked so stunning, Christopher Lloyd will be proud.
Its my son's favorite movie as well.
impressive bro!
Thank you!
What pencil/brush is that at 04:23...? When you’re painting the rims...

Great job! But why interior is blue?
Thanks! The interior color is what the instructions called for. My son is a big fan of the movies and he asked the same question! : )
@@scalemodelmaker659 Yeah, it should be gray, not blue. But it still looked cool.
What spray you use to color body?
Please answer!
Tamiya Silver Leaf sprayed over gloss black.
Fantastic job! I built the part 2 car back in February - those wheel parts are so fiddly!
What was the black primer you used? Thanks!
Many thanks!! It was gloss black. For the Part 3 car I used black primer.
@@scalemodelmaker659 it gave a great finish!
Can the door opened ??
On this model the doors are molded shut.
@@scalemodelmaker659 ok thanks

Thanks for your question! I painted this body with Tamiya spray paints. I used gloss black as an undercoat with Silver Leaf sprayed on top.
What’s a box stock?
Box Stock means that the model was built from only the parts included in the box.

Thank you! All the paint used for this build was Tamiya. The body was painted with Tamiya spray cans.
Scale Model Maker alright thank you!
*Very nice.*
I'm making one like this too. An Aoshima Back to the Future Delorean I mean. But it won't be made stock like yours.
A super detailed version would be very cool! Thanks for watching.
That is exactly what it will be. :)
By the way, why did you paint the interior blue instead of gray?
@@Smartzenegger Somewhere I had found a reference photo that showed blue.

The wires are challenging. A small brush helps and lots of patience : ).
