9:45 Medkit mechanics and models are taken from Sven Co-Op mod / game.

9:02 the Dormitories were in Half-Life: Decay (PS2 exclusive co-op addon for HL1 about the story of Gina Cross and Colette Green) that was later unofficially ported to PC (for Half-Life 1 and Sven Co-Op). The pool room on 3:08 is also from HL: Decay, btw.

5:55 the Kingpin is an unused enemy from the original Half-Life 1. The original game has its model in the game files, but it has no AI. So many modders attempt to bring it back, making different AI and attack patterns for it (or just using it in cutscenes).

lol funny i just tried to retrieve this game last week. i used to have it on cd version but it's far from me for the moment. all the abandonware versions of gunman chronicles are totally buggy... :(

Genuinely one of the best half life mods i ever played, no joke.

i remembered the final boss Dekker was quite an ass of a boss to beat. The AA guns on the sub suddenly fired at me while he's chasing me around. God damn! not sure if those AA guns are only activated when i was playing on Highest difficulty though?

In the 2022 version of field intensity instead of jumping in the portal after Barney we get blown up by the Satchel Charge that everyone who plays blue shift puts down at that one door during the portal sequence.

last time I played this the Scientists and enemy Guards weren't there, should check it out again. also there's a side mod called Intense Force that backports some of its new features to Op4

You should check out half life induction too, it was created by the same devs, basically the mod is about pre-incident time and how barney owe us a beer

I love OPFOR but I honestly found this mod to be Superior. This is the Entropy Zero 2 of HL mods

Man.. Man.. Youre fucking right, Filed Intensity is for me, the 2 Best Half Life mod I played in my life, and i played almost 329 hours on Half Life playing mods, I love this mod since the Start, the Story, the npcs, Stepan, everything

This game was one of my favourites back in the day. It's sad that so few people tried it, its quality was as good or even better than other AAA games of the time.

Some (Fun?) Facts (Spoiler alert): Adrian and Stefan actually arrive to the facility around the same time, (during Office Complex/We've Got Hostiles in HL1) but Adrian's Osprey got shot down by the Xen Manta Ray. The Black Ops first arrive to BMRF during Apprehension but in small numbers, since the Marines haven't pulled out yet and when Marines eventually pull out during Surface Tension and Forget about Freeman (Leaving some of them behind), Black Ops start to arrive to arrive to the facility in much larger numbers. Adrian (Opposing Force - "Welcome To Black Mesa") and Oldfield (Field Intensity - "Recovery") both regained conciousness during Surface Tension (HL1) and around the time when Marines started their withdrawal. They woke up late. Also, the enemy at 6:04 is called Kingpin and Controller-Like creatures in Xen are called Flocking Floaters, which were cut from the original game.

field intensity is actually pretty nice of a mod and its up there for me next to echoes

Unpopular opinion: This is better than Echoes I mean, I love Echoes as much as the next guy. But Field Intensity felt more natural to me and I don't know why

1:51 poor Barney. They were always my ‘friends’ playing this as a kid, I’d restart the checkpoint if they died. (A habit which I also did in halo saving the grunts too lol)

0:08 Actually he doesnt get the orders bc the heli crashed. Adrian ( You ) doesnt know what to do and just survives instead of "removing" the scientists etc. But great video anyway. Got yorself a sub.

You know, I played a demo of this game forever ago (like 2002-ish) and could never remember the name. I've been thinking about it from time to time and while it looked like a GoldSource game I could never find it.

I played the hell out of Gunman Chronicles when it came out and kinda loved it for what it was.

Sin had the most abysmal load times when it first released and wasn't fixed til a few HUGE patches were released, those downloads were not fun in dial-up days this was one of the big reasons the game wasnt as well received, HL had amazing load times.
