Every 3rd Saturday of the month, (Saturday 20th 2024) we meet at Fatty's Seafood on Gause Blvd in Slidell at 11 AM, bring your maps so we can review and share some spots with you.

Been around a few victims meself, not a pleasant experience for anyone involved. We still need to hook up for a trip soon.

Me was just hoping each would tie into one Redwarrioer for the day, their faces would have really lite up for sure.

It is a pleasure for us too, but hard to fit a trip in between all that they are into. (i.e. baseball, soccer, basketball, gymnastic, volleyball, acting, singing, dancing, school, weightlifting, growing up, etc. etc.) but every now and then we get a chance to share my passion and make a fishing / catching trip.

We try to fish / catch early come in and beat the heat. We also have a Bimin top that we use to keep the direct sun off us. I am plumber worked in all kinds of weather for 53 plus years, retired now, June, July & August was always our worst months for heat and being out in it. But had to make a living, have the same attuited / philosophy when it comes to fishing, have to catch to eat.

@@stanleyfink2934 u guys or the winners believe me us to go but now 85 just can’t. I had the answer before last storm a few miles from camp all the bass we wanted and back before 9. No more bass when salt water killed grass the bass left. Now wife’s cancer treatments keep me off water. But getting back into that hot truck after fishing may be my last. Having the camp with only a button has given me more years don’t think I could trailer a boat anymore. Keep the great videos coming they the best like being on the trip good luck. .

Team Jo-Jo’s first mate Big Ronnie also suggested Sea Foam, did it smoked a lot, but did not seem to help starting up Yamaha Nightmare Machine when it laid up for a month or two. Plus, me mechanic suggest not to use it?????? Thanks for comments

Thanks for suggestions and comments, have tried Sea Foam, made engine smoke a lot. Changed fuel line, changed 6-gallon tanks, have it serviced once a year, but when it lays up for extended period it is hard to start. If me use it regular it starts up quick, I think some how the plugs get filed up, have to pull & pull until plugs heat up then it starts. Someone also suggested draining / run fuel out after each trip, but me never did that with nay engines?????? May be one day this issue may be solved, but for now me will keep, pulling, pulling, & pulling.

With you on running, runs great, runs at ow speeds me use for trolling, but if me have to go with new one, it will be electric start for sure.

Hopefully, we continue to catch what we can, and in that process, bring home some fish for the ladies in our lives. There's nothing like the satisfaction of sharing our hard-earned catches with them. Fresh fish straight from the waters, cooked up into a delicious meal, always seems to bring a special joy and appreciation. Our next trip will focus on maximizing our haul by targeting the most productive spots and using the best techniques we've honed over the years. We'll head out early to Delacroix Island, ensuring we get the prime fishing hours when the fish are most active. Our strategy will include a combination of tight lining lures along the bottom, the cork technique in deeper waters, and possibly some Lake P Troll techniques if we venture towards the trestles. With the right conditions and a bit of luck, we'll be able to fill our coolers with Silverwonders and Redwarriors. Each fish we bring home will not only be a testament to our skills and teamwork but also a gift to the women who support us in our fishing adventures. Here's to another successful outing and a table full of fresh, delicious fish!

I love the motor, perfect for trolling & fishing, but cannot figure out why so hard to start! My mechanic suggested to pump bulb, put in gear, turn throttle 3 times to high speed. Put in neutral and then start, tried that no start. It just starts when it be ready to start. I will keep it until the time it doesn’t start then it be in Davey Joens locker room.
