Oneofthepack, Pablo, William, Delacroix, 6r, 7 13 24

TEAM JO-JO:
Got a call from Big Pablo you are going fishing Saturday, (7-13-24) am now says me. A little later got a text from Big William, (aka Oneofthepack2) he had 2 questions, 1 can we go eat tonight, and 2 you are going fishing , me say no to first question and yessum to second question. Now have 2 first mates for Saturday trip, meet up at Waffle House in Oak Harbor for 4 AM for a fun day on the water.

• On way home had a treat at Ben’s in Chalmette, got something to eat for crew, and picked up large pizza, and dozen hot tamale for crew support team back home to enjoy.
• Being on the water with 3 of the best fisherpersons me know. They be Big Pablo & Big William.
• Lessons learned:
 Big Willams favorite part of a fishing trip, is breakfast at Waffle House, he asked if we are having breakfast, told him we would have to get up real early, no problem say he, that be me favorite part of our trip, hence we up at 2:45 AM. I think we both got 2 ½ hours’ sleep!!!!!
 Having live and dead shrimp did make some difference but not much
 Spot # 64 a falling tide spot especially in summertime
 Check me post from 2021, 2022, & 2023, based on that intel, for July we should be fishing Team Jo-Jo spots 57, 57A, LC-4, LC-5, and 59B on the map, but water clarity not looking good on these areas. But next time out we will fish them and see if e can get in the BIG boy’s locker room.
 Will have to rig up a tandem rig, as that what we were using in years mention above to catch what catch can
 Old timer & heat of day do not go together, never bothered me in me younger years, looked forward to it.
 Early to catch, early to come in, me think 9 AM will be me limit in future.
• Best fishing trip of my life, until the next one.
Nothing plan, don’t plan to plan a trip soon, if so will combine trip with a heavy overcast day to keep the heat of us, until then.
