i have the 7 5700x with my 4060 ti (im afraid sadly it’s only 8gb vram) but still a beast of a combo

I used precision boost override in my BIOS (under volted) & I unparked all my cores, yet I still cannot get it above 4.2ghz. No matter what I do, whichever overclock I try, it doesn’t help & it was stuck at 4.2ghz even before I undervolted it

Going from a Ryzen 5 5500 to a Ryzen 7 5800x

Ryzen 7 5700x is very fast no doubt but it gets extremely hot while playing games like call of duty warzone, DMZ and temperature goes to 95-96C while GPU which i have remains normal and is on temperatures like 60-65 C

Still worth is in 2025 since the 4000 and 5000 series are so over priced.

The Resolve score was just a benchmark and it was only for the 8GB version not 16GB! The higher the video quality the more the VRAM matters. If it was 4K then you'd see the 4060 be much better compared to others. Its not a great card but can still hold its own. This card is more for using in software like Daz and Blender where VRAM is everything!
