This was great. I came from your other video of vitamin d toxicity. I also have protracted some kind of autoimmune disease like encephalitis or sclerosis from taking ritalin and I read somewhere (can't remember where, so people look it up yourselves) that it is very important for getting rid of toxins in your system.

Techno Panda your hypothesis about vitamin D being very personal is spot on! I took 10000 IU of Vitamin D for 3 years after bring my level up top 35 ppm. I recently switched to 5000 IU for the last 6 months and went down to 28 ppm vitamin D. I am 71 so being older and not able to metabolize this vitamin maybe my reason for not absorbing this substance. Thanks for your research.

Medicare does pay for it. My doctor checks Vit D all the time. I never have to pay.

I am from India, and my observation is that MD physicians here are not very serious about Vitamin D, and unless patient is proactive, his deficiency doesn't get addressed properly, I addressed it myself after watching videos on RUclips including yours, and thank you for sharing your personal experience

My doctor ordered a vitamin D test at Quest, and Medicare did not pay for it. Quest billed me $243 not the $69 you mentioned.

I'm currently dealing with mild acne post cystic acne recovery and considering Vitamin D supplementation. As an active young adult, should I start with 10,000 IU of Vitamin D daily, or try a combination tablet like Vitamin D-3 1,000 IU / Vitamin K-2 45 mcg? Your comments is appreciated.

Thank you for these videos. My vitamin D levels are from 11 to 18 since 10 years and I have now multiple auto-immune diseases. Last time my doctor found that I have an auto-immune disease of my thyroïd. The problem is I can't take vitamin D supplement because I get immediately nausea and I feel sick for days. I tried all kind of brands and dosage, even 400IU. May I ask what's the name of your disease that cause drop of your vitamin levels ? Maybe it would help me. Thanks!
