Great video! 🙌🏼 Like you, I have the challenge of hypothyroidism and made diet changes. Like yourself, I went gluten-free, I take vitamin K2-D3 & that helps; but, what REALLY helped me was iodine (Lugol’s 2 or 5%- 2-3 drops) and electrolytes in my water or coffee. The iodine is what finally made all the difference for me. I know enough now, to stay salty. Maybe you could do a video on the benefits of iodine?

10000 IU will raise calcium levels as well. How did you avoid that? How mich of Vit K2 and magnesium for 10000 IU VIT D?

I have Hashimoto's and found this out many years ago. Also always still had many symptoms even with Synthroid. I changed to Armor Thyroid and a gluten free diet 10 years ago and my antibodies went down after going gluten free. Maybe have your vitamin B12 checked because that was also extremely low for me. Low B12 also causes a lot of health problems and is often low in people with Hashimoto's thyroiditis. Thanks for the video's. Very informative.

I just started my very own gultin free diet, at the beginning of June, along with a very stringent supplemental program, too. I am now looking forward to, hopefully, seeing my Peroxidase level going down from 75 on my next test in mid-July. I will submit my results afterwards. Best of luck to all of us who have a thyroid issue, and thank God for content creators like this fine gentleman, who creates such great videos, too.

@technopandamedia - please include natural sources or supplements for selenium in your diet and go dairy/gluten free. It shall bring the Thyroid antibodies down quickly. I did this and mine came from 183 to 20-30 in 2 months only and then under range by next month. I have a question for you. You did not mention about the thyroid medication and the TSH levels. Is it possible for you to share that graph too?

I really recommend doing an Imupro or York blood test. My results came back with reactions to Gluten, wheat, corn, barley, oats and other varieties of wheat. Its a great tool to work in conjuction with a health practitioner.

Hello. I'm personally anti-TPO positive, and I have found a gluten-free diet helpful. However, there are also a few things we need to avoid, such as dairy, soy, cruciferous vegetables, and almonds. Can you find out if dairy is harmful for Hashimoto's? Cause we as Indians are addicted to chai! :)

Dairy indeed causes inflammation. I have switched to Oat Milk for making coffee and smoothies. I am also experimenting with dairy free yogurts, but so far none taste good. Let me know if you have any suggestions. Good luck!

Nothing special. I sampled various gluten free flours and picked Tapioca flour because its Roti/Chapatis are edible! Also reduced dairy by switching to Oat Milk for coffee. Also stopped eating almonds because they trigger inflammation. Good luck!

Some people find that oats are pretty close to the same type of reaction that is found in gluten. Gluten, corn, soy and oats (sometimes dairy too) are all substances that many find are not very friendly to the body, unfortunately.
