I'm 56 and my brother is 66, we climb ladders up and down, up and down in our work of hanging new gutters. We have a bottle of Distilled water with Liquid Trace Minerals added and a heavy dose of Salt. We sip on this throughout the day, as we walk back to our trailer to roll out new gutters. I guess I've been deficient in most my electrolytes and it makes so much sense why some days I feel like I can lift the planet and other days not even a piece of paper THANK YOU SO MUCH Dr. Eric you are making me healthier every single day. I've been neglecting my health for so long I'm currently 26 years old and will not neglect my health any longer thank you so much!!!!!
I’m getting back into weight training and I turned 43 years old two days ago. I found this channel a few weeks ago and I love it! Very informative and helpful. I’ve learned so much and have so much more to learn. Thank you so much, Doc!
Last fall I had low blood pressure, but reversed that by increasing my salt intake. (I don't eat processed foods so I have to add pink salt to my foods.) Then this Feb and much of March, I had palpitations and shortness of breath. Finally got an EKG and blood tests, and all was "normal" except for slightly below-normal hemoglobin and hemotocrit levels. Now I feel normal again. I think that's because I've paid more attention to getting enough iron, salt and magnesium. I also make sure to time my calcium supplements or foods at least two hours before or after my iron foods (calcium interferes with iron absorption), exercise daily (no more skipping days), and most importantly -- managing how I react to stress. Stress control is key. I hope these tips help someone else who might have similar issues.

I quit taking them shortly after, because they were killing me... my heart was fighting to beat without the electrolytes and the BP meds were fighting my heart... only if I would've known then, I wouldn't be trying to get my health back on track... I'd STILL be healthy instead... but... as long as you do learn something from bad situations, you can make a difference in your life and help others along the way...
Great info Dr. Berg - thank you! Unfortunately doctors in the UK are no longer taught any of this stuff. They are reduced now to functionaries that match a patient with the most profitable Pharmaceutical product in stock. A bit like modern mechanics that can't fix cars but can hook one up to a diagnostic device and then fit whichever boxed products the device tells them to.
So true. We’ve been Americanized and monopolized. It’s awful. Parents don’t teach it. Teachers don’t teach it. Doctors don’t teach it. It was impossible to learn. Uni students scoff at any information that wasn’t provided to them directly at uni not realizing their education is stunted on purpose. And they wonder why they get no respect now. We know they don’t know enough now.
When my in-laws died and we had to sort out their personal effects, both had a whole carrier bag full of meds. I'm positive that none of these were needed. The whole thing is a con.
It's throughout our culture. A friend was VASTLY overcharged at a fast food restaurant. The person behind the counter kept saying it was correct because that was what the cash register said. Any person with normal math skills could see this was wrong without any calculations, but the counter person only believed the register. I've had a furnace repair guy following protocols that were useless when even I, totally untrained in this could glimpse what was wrong with what he was saying. Of course, the worst is when people's lives and health are at stake. Though biological organism are far more complicated, even machines can have unique characteristics.
Not just the UK dealing with over medicating. We, in the US dealing with the same. They don't teach our Dr's to treat the problem but mask and bandaid the symptoms at best which then make us sicker and end up more meds only making big pharma richer and us sicker! No more healthcare...we now live in an Era of sickcare! Thank you Dr. Berge for all your knowlege!

After getting very sick in a less than 24 hour period and not being able to eat for several days except liquids, I’ve had a hard time coming back from it and I’ve also been doing low-carb/keto diet. The palpitations and shaking is really bad for a while there. They have become less but they’re still occurring every couple of days. I dont crave sweets and i am not hungry every 2 hours anymore. Thank you dr.Berg for all your videos. My doctor always said since 2006 that my weight and my high sugar is generic...since i start keto,i feel so much better.
I was looking at the ingredients list on your electrolyte powder, and I'm curious why you chose magnesium citrate over the other forms. Also, I'm diabetic and my nutritionist says I need to watch my potassium intake. What are your thoughts on this?
thnks for informative ELECTROLYTES Vedio I was in Hospital lack of Sodium (ELECTROLYTES ) it took 5 days to get better My symptoms was SEVERE CROWN HEADACHE /Dizziness n severe weakness. ..
Hey Dr. Berg, great information as always. Do you have a list of foods that are best to consume in order to gain these different electrolytes?! Or a video perhaps?! Thank you!
The problem is is that doctors don’t check for any of this or at least my doctors don’t. How much is to much electrolytes in order to get back to normal and how to find out which mineral you are deficient in? Have been battling unusual symptoms for the last 3 years from racing heartbeats, panic attacks, anxiety, caffeine sensitivity, digestion issues, weighted limbs, extreme tiredness or fatigue, insomnia, uncontrolled sugars (type 2 diabetic), and most recently hbp. Can’t seem to figure it out and or where to start? I believe I became mineral deficient after doing the ketogenic diet.
I’ve been OMAD for over two years and I don’t understand how anyone can think about fasting without taking proper electrolytes. I’m convinced it’s why so many fail.
Dr. That drawing looks just like me .🤩🙃..You are so generous and I love learning by your explanation..talks and insights..Thank you ..You are so appreviated.
Recently realized how important electrolytes are, been pounding RO water for years and ended up really dehyrated, started adding mag cit, cal cit, and potasium cit, salt, baking soda, and drinking same ammount of water gained 7lbs of water weight in a week. Muscles look much fuller and better. Eyes even whitened up. Used citrate versions because i also experimented with a low oxylate diet and went through dumping symptoms for a few weeks
Thanks a lot Dr Berg for the great and amazing video and for the advice, information and tips. Though this does sound a bit complicated and sophisticated. 👍👍👍👍
Great video as usual 👏 However, it would have been even better to give an example of what to eat and/or do to fully satisfy the requirement a typical person needs. For example, I read that it’s best to get magnesium via transdermal application rather than a digestive supplement and I’m sure that eating some food rich in one thing will inhibit the absorption of another.
OMG!!! I am seeing more and more of the connections with my health issues!!! Excellent Dr. Berg!!! I am so grateful to you and your videos!!! I also understand now why we need so much vegetables!!!
Yesterday I saw an episode on cbs on hydration Via utube . Re coconut water compared to plain tap water consumption after a 1 hr run. Both coconut water and tap water hydrated the body no difference . So don’t buy expensive coconut water folks. Re calcium and magnesium highest amounts are found in almonds , followed by green leafy veggies . Best of health folks .☺️
Dr. Berg, Can electrolyte be taken by a colon cancer patient daily, even before and after a radiation therapy cancer treatment? Thank you very much for your videos which I have been watching and applying what you taught to improve our family health.
I saw an advertisement for Fire Tonic which is a concoction of Apple Cider Vinegar with other additives. I’d love to get your thoughts on this product.

Hellooo...i improve my self a steem, energy and i lost weight from 218 down to 190 only in 5 weeks with clean ketogenic diet and my fasting. I dont crave sweets and i am not hungry every 2 hours anymore. Thank you dr.Berg for all your videos. My doctor always said since 2006 that my weight and my high sugar is generic...since i start keto,i feel so much better.
Wow, so much valuable information in such a succinct and short explanation. Thank you!
Is Sodium Bicarbonate 1/2 teaspoon mixed with water good for you?
I was looking at the ingredients list on your electrolyte powder, and I'm curious why you chose magnesium citrate over the other forms. Also, I'm diabetic and my nutritionist says I need to watch my potassium intake. What are your thoughts on this?
The only one you can trust ‼️Love this guy
@ Dr Berg, I wish you would have promoted your electrolyte powder. Its AWESOME!!!
It brings down my blood pressure and gives me energy.😎
He promoted it in the drop-down box under the video.
@@COOLKITTY1995 oh, ok. Thanks. 😊
Thanks
thnks for informative ELECTROLYTES Vedio I was in Hospital lack of Sodium (ELECTROLYTES ) it took 5 days to get better My symptoms was SEVERE CROWN HEADACHE /Dizziness n severe weakness. ..
Hey Dr. Berg, great information as always. Do you have a list of foods that are best to consume in order to gain these different electrolytes?! Or a video perhaps?! Thank you!
Watermelon, coconut water, cucumbers, celery are some of the foods I go to for hydration but pretty much most fruit will hydrate you well.
Dr. Berg, I bought your mix. Is one scoop sufficient a day?
Dor international audience: Potassium is K (kaalium) and Sodium is Na (naatrium)
Thaanks
Thanks for your Devotion to helping others with their Struggles with their Health Problems, you certainly have helped Me.
Thank you Dr. Berg.
What you take?
@@dear396
2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tsp Cream of Tartar
1 tsp Pink Himalayan Salt
1/2 tsp lime juice
500mg Magnesium triple complex
Cell salts ... Salts of salvation
Great information Thankyou!!!!!
Are powder electrolytes good, ie drink while working out?
Thank you for this doc👍🏼💚 I was always wondering about these guys functions ✨
Any recommendations for a good electrolyte powder or drink?
100% respect for u Dr. Berg ❤
Dr. That drawing looks just like me .🤩🙃..You are so generous and I love learning by your explanation..talks and insights..Thank you ..You are so appreviated.
Dr Berg , you're the only advise I need and my health has improved.
Awesome! Please keep helping us all Doctor!
Thank you. Dr Berg 🤗
I would love for DrBerg to do a segment on MTHFR
Great information presented in a way that is easy to understand. Thanks Dr. Berg!
You're welcome! Glad to know you liked it!
Very nicely explained.
Beloved doctor, could you teach us about HEMP-seeds proteins, HEMP-seeds oil, pumpkin-seeds proteins, and pumpkin-seeds oil.?
Can you overdo electrolytes? Can excessive magnesium also cause cramps?
Wow Doc🙌🏾 Thankyou so much 4this explanation👏🏾
Hola Dr... your videos are excellent. I always learn something new. Gracias 😊😊😊
Yea that's why I clicked on the video
Would lemon 🍋 water be hydrating since it carries alot of the minerals needed?
Never knew sodium was part of the oxygen delivery system....good to know...thanks for the info. Dr. Berg much appreciated and grateful....
OMG!!! I am seeing more and more of the connections with my health issues!!! Excellent Dr. Berg!!! I am so grateful to you and your videos!!! I also understand now why we need so much vegetables!!!
Most welcome! Glad you found the videos helpful!
YOU ARE AMAZING DOC THANKYOU FOR TRACHING❤️
Yesterday I saw an episode on cbs on hydration Via utube . Re coconut water compared to plain tap water consumption after a 1 hr run. Both coconut water and tap water hydrated the body no difference . So don’t buy expensive coconut water folks. Re calcium and magnesium highest amounts are found in almonds , followed by green leafy veggies . Best of health folks .☺️
@1:25 I like how he said the way your body is design!
Amen 🙏🏻to that God makes No mistakes
Dr. Berg, Can electrolyte be taken by a colon cancer patient daily, even before and after a radiation therapy cancer treatment? Thank you very much for your videos which I have been watching and applying what you taught to improve our family health.
If you take the D3&K2 do you need calcium supplement on top of that or just increase the D3&K2?
Very interesting. Learnt a lot here
thats a cute monkey🐵
Thanks for keeping me educated in quarantine sir! I appreciate it, by the way how do I gain weight with keto diet?
So good, helping people by knowing this. Sharing this video
I saw an advertisement for Fire Tonic which is a concoction of Apple Cider Vinegar with other additives. I’d love to get your thoughts on this product.
Thanks Doc, stay hydrated everyone.
Can you please make an unflavored electrolyte powder with no added sweetener?
you design and we buy from you
Thank you Dr for providing us free information. I don't wanna skip any of your videos ,to improve my health. You are the best👍
I take magnesium supplements, eat lots of salt and veggies but can't stop the leg cramps at night since starting keto. The only con I have found so far. Thanks Dr Berg!
@@RobC1999 I'll keep trying to tweek what I'm doing. When keto is fairly new there are so many different things to consider so I appreciate the help. Thank you!
I had it for two nights running. A few spoons of spinach with one meal sorted it. I buy it frozen and it comes in lumps so I add one or two to my food.
Janet Farnworth Thanks! I’ll try anything at this point!
I have found that 2 tbsp of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water, every day, keeps the leg cramps away
@@verseau8360 I used to do that but found I dreaded getting out of bed because I hated the taste so much. I use it on salad pretty much every day with olive oil but still got cramps.
I can only say thank you!! I tell everyone about your channel!!
If this is so we are very happy!

Thank you for all the great information that you're sharing.
Would like to ask on a theoretical standpoint since we're all different, which would be a recommended ratio between these electrolytes for a high endurance workout (marathon running and above)? Thank you!
How do you get these electrolytes without sugar? Is there a brand to get?
Dr Berg can a teenager 12 - 17 years old use your electrolite powder?
of cosssss
Most definitely do!
Minerals are essentials for all of us, in every time of our lives. And nobody should have negative effects from them. Since they are just Minerals.
