I really enjoyed this book. I did guess the twist pretty early but it didn't lessen my enjoyment at all. The characters and plot were so fun. It was well paced and I liked how they switched between characters.

3 star books. Yes. There is something wrong with them. They aren’t bad enuf to get ranty about and be outraged when someone likes it, and not good enuf to be excited you read it. It’s the worst rating! lol!!!! If it feels like less than a 4 star… I dnf. Otherwise I’d never ever ever catch up to the books I want to read lol

Little Fires Everywhere is one of my all-time FAVz... I've read it 3 times and watched the TV series a couple times. I think the TV show casting Kerry Washington as Mia, changed her character in the book for me and added an extra layer of race. And the TV show also highlighted Izzy's sexuality which wasn't really mentioned in the book even though there was a hint of it. So overall, the two together really create a powerful story.

I read Little Fires, years ago, I thought it was just meh. I watched the show, and thought it was Soo much better.

I dnf Foe, 😴 And you're not missing much with Normal People imo 😂 I liked the beginning but it became annoying and frustrating.

I don't read many thrillers but I like them on occasion. I've been curious about The Fury and my local used bookshop has a signed copy, I may just grab it

Rock paper scissors is so good and well written! Even as a seasoned thriller reader I was shocked by twists in it! Midnight feast sounds amazing!

Great video! I've read a couple of hundreds of thrillers and because they all became samey, predictable and dull the most I give them is 3 stars, in rare instances 4! But if I come across one that is actually good there's no better feeling in the world imo!

Hi Zac, I am new to Riley Sager and have only read Home Before Dark and The House Across the Lake. They were both so different; so I did not know what to expect with this book. OH MY GOSH! I could not put this book down. I loved the details of each character. He really did capture the world of brothers and friendships and childhood. Every time Ethan's phone pinged; and he could barely look at his screen, I felt his terror. Loved this book and look forward to reading more. Thank you so much for your review!

It takes place during the Spanish Golden age :) I think its mid 1500! loved your review.I believe she collaborated with historians to make it as accurate as possible,she also did personal research bc the story is inspired by her family history.I felt the same about the middle and found alternating between the audiobook and on my kindle and that made it easier!
