Middle of the Night is my new favorite of Sager's books! I bought a signed copy of the book the day it came out, with no expectations, and absolutely loved it; something about it felt more emotional than his other books and less about the shocks typical of his thrillers. I loved your review!

Hi Zac, I am new to Riley Sager and have only read Home Before Dark and The House Across the Lake. They were both so different; so I did not know what to expect with this book. OH MY GOSH! I could not put this book down. I loved the details of each character. He really did capture the world of brothers and friendships and childhood. Every time Ethan's phone pinged; and he could barely look at his screen, I felt his terror. Loved this book and look forward to reading more. Thank you so much for your review!

I was waiting so much for your video to come out! LOVE THAT YOU LOVED IT! And funny thing is, so far RS fans did not really enjoyed it that much, whereas others loved it! I always enjoyed his writing so Im excited about it!

Riley Sager was enjoyable to listen to and hear him talking about this book and his other works. When he said this was a male protagonist, I was intrigued since his previous 7 books are all female main characters. He also mentions he was inspired by his own childhood best friend who moved away, something he hadn’t ever really thought about until writing this book. My 3 favorite RS books are The Last Time I lied, Home Before Dark, & Survive the Night… I’m hoping this becomes the new favorite of his since it’s signed 😁

I love Riley Sager. I just picked up an autographed copy today at a half-price book store .I still have to read Survive The Night and Home Before Dark. I read all his other book and own them all.

Thanks for the review. Does this book contain supernatural elements? I’m looking to read a mystery/thriller more than a supernatural ghost story.
I think that need would be mostly met from this, I can't say a lot without spoiling but I do think you would get some of what you're asking for.
