@@ryreads hahahhaha the Stephen Graham Jones. I still have yet to read it so it wasn't quite a review, but I do now have it in my possession so perhaps my soul was indeed successfully sold for it 🤷🏻♀️
Aww your cat being on top of the bookshelf at the end is so cute! He/she wants to be in the video 😊 I loved this concept and might have to try picking out a book this way!
The book that gave five stores saying “it’s hard to believe a man wrote this” makes me remember when I was in my 20s. I read several books by this author that was a man - yeah so I thought, and then I found out that author was a man and it blew me away. Suddenly, my inner mind reviews jumped from 4 to 5 Store for sure. Don’t ask me why but being able to write from two very different perspectives is something to admire.
Little Fires Everywhere is one of my all-time FAVz... I've read it 3 times and watched the TV series a couple times. I think the TV show casting Kerry Washington as Mia, changed her character in the book for me and added an extra layer of race. And the TV show also highlighted Izzy's sexuality which wasn't really mentioned in the book even though there was a hint of it. So overall, the two together really create a powerful story.

Foe… I think you’ll love it, cause I’m pretty sure that white rice comment was mine, or could easily have been mine. lol!!!😂 Oooooooh didn’t see that rating coming from you! I read this after “I’m thinking of ending things(the most “you MUST do audio for this book” book.)” which I freaking loved! And then I got… foe… lol
This was a very interesting video. Because when you rated and read the first book written by the person who gave it one star and then you read the review from the other person that gave it five stars. Having taught English and history for 19 years, I can tell you that the person who wrote the one star one just by the manner and the word she used in the way she constructed her Paragraph together - - she does not naturally radiate light. What I mean is she or He sees the negative before the positive. Where is you see the positive before the negative and I believe if you read a book that you absolutely love and you kept reading it all the way till 4:15 in the morning and I bet that was a book that took you out of this world, during the time that was passing while you read it. The way people converse and right and Reid as well says so much about who we really are. Well, we’re here to find that out or we wouldn’t have come into this life no matter how old I am I never want to stop growing in my heart, mind and soul. Happy reading.
3 star books. Yes. There is something wrong with them. They aren’t bad enuf to get ranty about and be outraged when someone likes it, and not good enuf to be excited you read it. It’s the worst rating! lol!!!! If it feels like less than a 4 star… I dnf. Otherwise I’d never ever ever catch up to the books I want to read lol
Oh my god you’re so right. Like I either want to LOVE a book or COMPLAIN about a book 😂 also that’s not a bad idea about DNFing, there’s so many books out there.
🙋♀I like the idea. Do it again, do it again, do it again.
Not me clicking on this video because I saw I Was A Teenage Slasher in the thumbnail, only to see my OWN "review" in the first few minutes 🤯
WHICH ONE??? They were all anonymous to me 🤯

Little fires everywhere was pretty good book, but I thought it was a really good movie or was it a series I can’t remember but look it up
I read Little Fires, years ago, I thought it was just meh. I watched the show, and thought it was Soo much better.
I’ve heard that, maybe I should try the show!!!

Hey man, can you give me some romance book recommendations released this year?
I haven’t been reading as much romance right now but let me take a long at what I have read and see if I can put something together :)
@@ryreads Thanks!
I dnf Foe, 😴
And you're not missing much with Normal People imo 😂 I liked the beginning but it became annoying and frustrating.
