Just Finished Replacing all 4 Suspension Rods (2024 Upgrade DC97-16350U) on my WA50R5200AW Samsung Washer. They look sturdier. No more Bounce when I push down on drum. We'll see how it washes. Thank You to the maker of this repair video. It was a life and time saver. Don't Forget to Recalibrate!

This is the only guide anywhere close to my needs thank you! - but what I am trying to find is how to replace the hose for the pump filter and I cannot find out where the end goes, in order to reconnect it (it popped of when I was emptying the water. Any suggestions?

Bro is a life saver. I do recommend doing this just with two people though. One to hold the lid and only to raise the drum. Tons of grease. It sticks.

I can here the motor working. It sounds normal but it doesn’t turn.

So I took all the insides apart, as the filter and what not. Mine drains into the disposal, I can see it drain into the disposal at some point , but at the end of the wash when machine is finished, there is still water filled up to just under the big large screen(the one you need to remove to get to the smaller screen). I did not replace the water pump. Whats your take on this?

How do you clean that gooey stuff off your hands?

The hardest part of this whole job was getting that center bolt out! Everything else was a breeze! Our washer is running like new! I love a DIY repair that doesn’t break the bank! Thank you!!

Even with the new springs,you still need to Fortify and add extra drum (foam padding) on 4 sides

I've seen other videos of this repair where the rod ends were greased where they contact the washer, is this nessesary?

Hello - i did this about 3 months ago the new rods lasted about a month anyone else? I bought them off Amazon 40 bucks the oem rods would cost me 270 plus shipping way too much- im now in the process of re- engineering a washer which in my opinion was a terrible design

I’ve replaced the suspension rods twice a temporary fix after a few loads goes unbalanced, did a X Y axis recalibration works for a few loads, unplugging for 5 minutes and the XY RECAL works for a few loads then becomes unbalanced again. Any suggestions

Like a lot of the comments on here, I was getting an error message and ordered a part from Amazon (the shipping may have been more than the part itself). Last night we took the plunge and decided to take a stab at replacing the hall sensor, while watching your video. The washing machine is working...at the moment! Even if my washing machine breaks down again, you already saved me another trip to the Laundromat. More importantly, you have restored confidence in my handiwork abilities, which is priceless.

Can you help me with my whirlpool top load washer. It won’t go into rinse cycle. It won’t spin. After wash cycle it just stops. Help please fairly new washer

Great Video. What model is this? It looks "almost" identical to my washer which is the LG WM4270HWA except the filter area is ever so slightly different. I have a replacement machine in my cart online with HD, when I was just about to buy and saw this. If I can get to mine from underneath, it's a no brainer to just buy the pump. Thanks for posting!

What were the symptoms of this machine? Was it simply not draining correctly? Mine makes a lot of noise when spinning.

I made a mistake of purchasing a LG WashTower. No way I can tilt the washer cause it's attached to the dryer!

Where do you buy the new pump?

My model is slightly different but the installation was pretty much the same. However, mine is still pretty loose and wiggles but won't come off. Is it okay to use when like that? Or do I need to take it apart again and figure out the issue?

Is there a way to confirm/check that the rods are damaged/faulty? I would hate to change these if they aren't really damaged. Also, I didn't see on the video that you used any sort of lubricant (or white lithium) on the new rods? Is that necessary?

We got as much water out as we could before starting, but were unprepared for the amount of water that was still in the machine, at least two bucket fulls. This created a mess to clean up. This could have been avoided by tilting the washer forward and propping it up with a 4x4. This will allow you to get a pan under the machine. It also helps while wrestling with the pump clamps and screws (mine had 3 and was model WT7600).
