Wow. Thank goodness for this video. Agree with other comment below, this is a real/actual tutorial vs the ones that make it sound so easy. I wasted 2 hours trying to get the seal back on, found the is video, and got it on 15 mins later. While it’s obvious now, no one ever pointed out the square cutout at the top that allows the seal to bite while you fit the seal. You point this out clearly in your video. Picking up clamps tomorrow to continue with the dreadful spring part. Thanks for the upload. I was close to giving up and this got me over my first roadblock.
Wow thanks a bunch. I've watched 2-3 videos and couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong until I found your detailed explanations. Certainly saved me a service call after wasting 2h trying it wrong.
I wish I wouldve found this tutorial a month ago. The trick with the clamps was nice. I was struggling with that spring so much trying to get it back on.
Hi all. What is the correct part number for this door seal? I have to replace the bellows on a 2018 Electrolux EFLS627uiw0. The part I have doesn't seem to fit in the outer shell channel correctly, and I don't want to finish the install is all if it is the wrong part. Your help is appreciated.
I actually just replaced the seal on my washer and now it won’t turn on the light inside. The tub comes on when you open the door, but it won’t turn on. I’ve checked the plug for the front face and the other plug for the door. Both of those are completely plugged in and the pins aren’t smashed, your thoughts
Agreed all around the best/clearest video out there on how to actually replace it.
Thank you

You are welcome. We do charge more for this type of repair. Not the easiest DIY .
Well done young fella.

You're welcome!
Thank you for the detailed repair video. I like how you show the struggle. most of the repair videos make this look a lot easier than it actually is.
You are welcome
Awesome video but I think I'll leave this repair for someone else. It's nice to see you teaching others, keep up the great work!
Thank you

Glad to help Jake. I love your spearfishng and cooking videos

as this video shows, it requires two pairs of hands to replace the inner spring. I've tried solo with spring clamps but they just go flying.
Yes, it can be difficult to do solo.
