It's time for episode 8 of my summer series, I'm putting aubergines in the spotlight. This beautiful salad is full of flavour and textures so every mouthful is more exciting than the last. Squidgy grilled halloumi is paired with a fresh fattoush salad, crunchy pitta croutons, and a creamy smoky baba ganoush.
Use the baba ganoush recipe all summer long as a dip or dressing.

Bad advise, don't forage unless you know what you're doing, since there is an identical plant that's poisonous.
I agree you should always do plenty of research before foraging, but wild garlic is very easy to identify even for beginners. I've got lots of tips on my website! Lily of the valley leaves look very similar but you just need to scratch and smell to check it smells of garlic to make sure you've go the correct plant.
