VAXON - Best is best slant razor! Yaqi seem to have tried to copy Elbrus from HLS.

Another simple mod that worked really well on mine is simply snipping the over hang of a regular de blade, the reason it wont oscillate with a regular blade is theyre too long. Snip the ends and bend the blade just a little bit. The blade will shimmy a little bit but the center hole is held secure and i had no trouble getting a good shave with mine.

Subie, Do you recommend the Merker Progress or Parker Variant as a Black Friday gift? I’ve read the variant is aggressive on lower settings.

Do it feels great for headshave. Is it feels agressive with blade feel .almost BBS.

i so wanted the new version of the Proof razor but the place i bought mine has bad commutations with the guys that makes The Proof razor according to the place i shop they never got answers when writing to them oh and it is the only Danish place to get them and now sold out they never got the MKII

Nice! I might have to pick up their standard model and do a handle, like I did with the OneBlade. I have the older design and haven't used the updated design so it does make me curious what it's like. I'd probably do a different style handle for their razor, something more modern. Insane production like always, Josh 😂. One slthing to watch out for in the MKC Proof is that it scrapes when putting in and out of the stand, and I'm afraid that's gonna be the area that is gonna start wearing off first. I am personally gonna skip the brass. Happy holidays!

The brass looks nice but not for $250. I think what you said about the weight engaging the head (similar to the hybrid or genesis from Oneblade) will give a better shave. Hopefully they will make a SS version of the razor

Awesome intro. I like to take that scraper vertical to the soap with the curved side against the tub wall and it scrapes up the soap nicely even off the tub wall. It's awesome you got this razor and compare it to the others they are offering. Have a great week and Happy Thanksgiving

Hey Josh !! I just tried the Titaner S1, that I just received. I too had the issue with the loading posts being small. Makes the loading a bit risky at times. Good to see you did the dome with it. I wasn't that brave especially on a 1st shave. My thought was that a GEM mated with a Cyber Truck. That's what piqued my initial interest was that the head looked like it might be for a GEM blade. Hey Subie! I just purchased this razor off ebay for a fantastic price in my opinion! It is in IMMACULATE condition! Same case as yours, but mine is plated in gold. It came with a Professional brand blade that looks like brand new. I am actually going to try to sharpen a vintage Gillette Blue blade and see what it can accomplish. This was one razor I was waiting for quite awhile! I cant believe the condition it is in. In all honesty, I don't think it was even used. Everthing looks new old stock. I even got the cardboard shipper box! Thanks for demonstrating this razor! I didn't know too much about it until now! JimG

I’m actually deciding between Muramasa and konsul now as the Black Friday is coming and they both will be a bit cheaper… My OCD might be getting bit better of me as slanted razor keeps bothering me. Anyway as you where saying the ring on muramasa might be a week point but I think that’s not so bad as I found bag of 100 for £5 so if that’s the only fault with it I can live with it, funding sweet spot will just require some time, now to the konsul I heard that some of the rusting in the adjacent area do you have any issue with yours? Because if that’s the case that would be dealbreaker for me… I just simply need a solid push in one or the other direction… kind of situation buy one’s cry one’s and as the price of them are quite similar it’s such a hard choice… help please :)

Good idea Josh! You're always thinking outside the box and this seems like a razor that they should make now that you showed them what to do-haha! Cane is an awesome scent and I generally don't like barbershop scents with powder. It works well in this scent and doesn't overpower it. Hopefully you get all this healthy stuff sorted out soon so you can have some normalcy again. Health stuff can be stressful and who needs any of that! Take care Buddy!

Super cool! I think they did a good job and it does look close. I don't think that having the comb going as deep will make much difference as a lot of artisans are making a low volume soap and there's a pretty big gap. It probably makes it feel a little less aggressive, but the efficiency is the same. I can't wait to try one out! Sounds like another great scent from PAA and it will make it tough to decide what to go with-lol! Have a great one buddy!

I do like the looks and feel of the pal over the schick. As for the adjustment, the L is the mild setting, and H is the most aggressive/efficient setting. The gaurd moves straight in and out. There's no change in the blade gap, just blade exposure.
