Great job Josh! It does look more like the original except the handle. The Timeless handle looks great on there and there's a Charcoal Goods handle that would look right at home with that head. I do want to pick up a Kirby and am kicking myself that I let one go that was reasonably priced. I love B&M Melange and I would bet this one would work for me too. There are definitely differences between soap and splash scents and I really noticed that recently with PAA's Bay Gum. I love the soap scent, but the splash is a lot less fruity. Not bad, just different. Oh man, a move can throw a wrench in life in general and with a channel even more so. I don't know where you're going, but it will be hard to beat how fast you got things I've sent. Good luck with the move brother and I'm hoping it will be a smooth transition! That does occasionally happen-lol!

Good review. Razor shaved great - mild but efficient. Unfortunately had to return the meta 4 a year or 2 ago. Blade alignment issues. Too much play. I have 0 tolerance in blade slop. PAA customer service top notch.
Totally get that! Absolutely no reason for slop at this point if you ask me, it's a modern era with incredible machinery! Can't say I wouldn't do the same! Thanks so much for watching and sharing your experience!

Well I am glad you liked the review - 14 months now and it hasn't left my counter. Absolutely one of If not my true favorite modern 3 piece. That razor, with a new handle and polish, is perfect for me. I should stop buying razors and just get 2 more of them haha As far as 2 other 3 Piece DEs - Drakkant Ti - also made by Jake - has blown me away. I've used it 8 times now, every shave has been a 10/10. It's WILDLY autopilot, has next to 0 blade feel, and gets me a BBS with 0 risk..it's like a safety razor if you're scared or razors. Blackland Blackbird Ti - other end of the spectrum. This thing is wicked, tons of blade feel, lots of feedback, but a BBS that lasts ages. Not to be underestimated - but a shave worth chasing. Worthy mentions would be my Timeless Slim, and Carbon Ti..I love them both - but have not used them as much with their exposed blade tabs. Then you have to dip into Pivoting SE's, Non- Pivoting SE's, Adjustable DE's, Vintage DEs / SEs....there are so many good razors for head shaving! My best to you and thanks for the comment!
Most are Extremely good, especially for the $ IMHO- but all very different in nature. PAA does not have a "profile" like some manufacturers, meaning they offer both VERY aggressive and mild shavers a like. Where they really Excel in my opinion is in releasing Homage updates of previously forgotten vintage razor's. Some...like the starling...I don't care for. But I know some that love it. PAA I think has something that will work for everyone - it's just sometimes hard to figure out which item it is, and if it's in stock... Thank you so much for the question

Are the PAA Razors that good? I keep stopping myself from buying one lol, the Meta and the DOC were on my radar.
