Awesome intro and pictures. Nice shave and review. PAA has so many great scents, you make this one sound interesting. That is customer service for doing that. Have a great week buddy
Damn, the intro was on fire! What a great looking razor and that is some quality Customer Service. Great looking shave and the soap sounds like a winner. Great video as always.
Man I needed a good shave, so happy this one was on point ! I was almost discouraged by the damaged razor - but this one was great! Thank you so much for joining me for the shave and for a little intro fun! Haha
Very good Josh! That's an awesome looking razor and I have it on my list (the stainless version). The scallops are cool and I like that the they go all the way across. That intro was like a mini movie! PAA makes some awesome scents and the ones I really like are their own scents. The CK6 is awesome and even the older version is great. I'll have to get a sample of this one when I make an order. Have a great one!
This one is THE same to snag. At least if you smelled a good rainstorm somewhere like Arizona or Colorado. Absolutely love it, some how he captured wet sand in a bottle. I had no idea that the scallops were going to make this so darn cool! Funny when a little design feature like that makes all the difference! Thanks again my friend for the nice comment and for sharing the shave with me!
Hey, great video as always. I agree the outlaw evolution is one of my absolute favorite shavers. I have two titanium and one stainless steel as well as the bronze limited edition he did recently. As someone who prefers older razors, I’m surprised that some people would describe this as aggressive. I think mild to moderate at most in my humble opinion. I’ve yet to find a blade that doesn’t work well in it and I think you’re right that it has a really great balance between comfort and efficiency
Appreciate your comment and all your posts and SOTDs on FB! Glad to have you here Chris! The Evolution was quite the razor, I really enjoyed having it! Definitely mild and easy going! Thank you again for the support!
how is this Alpha outlaw evolution compare to timeless ti slim sb in terms of blade feel and efficiency? it will be great if you can do a comparison dome shave with both. thanks
Thank you for the question! The Timeless for me has slightly more tangible blade feel (very marginally more) but I feel is actually a bit smoother? The Timeless profile on the Slim is smaller, and I like the angle it offers slightly more - I just hate I have to trim blade tabs with it. Honestly....I sold the Outlaw. After 5 shaves I just felt it fell short of my absolute favorites.
Thank you very much for the review! How does the Alpha Outlaw Ti compares with Yates 921 H plate? Are they similar with the blade feel? I do mostly head shave and my chin. I currently use Rockwell T2 SS and it works fine for me. I dial up to 4 with 4 day hair growth then back to 2 atg for second pass. I have ordered Yates Merica and have been waiting for a month now to be ready for shipping. 😊
Honestly they shave fairly different. For me, the Yates 921 feels way more modern, slightly blockier, and the baseplate bar feels more precise. I just finished my 5th shave with the Alpha and I admit, I have placed it up for sale. It has some blade feel, has a excellent angle, and I liked the audible feedback - but it just wasn't as smooth as my 921. Great razor, beautiful design. Thanks for the question!
Nice shave! I’ve personally never considered this Alpha razor myself, as the design unfortunately does nothing for me (looks very generic, same issue ATT heads have) and I do like razors that look „different“
Hey different strokes and YMMV for sure! I personally snagged this one after having so many people tell me it's their go too, favorite razor in their den. For me it's the scallops that set the razor off when sat next to other designs - along with that beautiful flat back base plate (like the old Gillette flat bottoms kind of). That said thank you for joining me for the shave all the same 👍
@@clawsomeflufferton4660 ya know, totally understand that. Not that I didn't appreciate the outlaw, but I also have since sold this one as I just didn't reach for it over others. Thanks for your comment!
I love the single long lather channel

Thanks Mike! I was very impressed by Alpha's service, and had a very pleasant shave! Thank you for joining me for it!
Fantastic looking razor and shave! Hats off to Steve for the customer service and making sure that everything is right for you!
It's a big deal to me when a brand goes the extra mile, and I like that Steve really stood by his razor and the specs. Glad this one shaves haha
Steve does amazing work. I love my Outlaw Evolution
Can't get around it - it's a awesome kit!

@@SubieShaves I think Wolfman Razors does the same design cue going all the way across with their open comb.

@@SubieShaves im sure it’s a fine shaving razor! I’m just weird like that, as enjoy looking at my razors on display 😅
Have great day Subs!
Tried outlaw razors with different plates, not my cup of tea at all especially when you compare them to Aylthworth Apex or Overlander
