It's a shame to hear on the website there are no plans for season 2 of the tv show, hopefully there could at least be a future kickstarter or something to raise funds for more shorts to be produced independently. It was a fantastic show even just with the episodes we got.
What's more disappointing is that it is another subscription service. You can't even buy the episodes, you rent them for 3 years for $12. What a weird idea
you know whats better than a $12 3 year subscription to watch all the episodes? A bluray release of the tv series with the original youtube episodes included! Make it $30 id pay for it. Would prefer the physical tangible item on my shelf than a website thats not being used if that makes sense. Still incredibly happy to have access to the show in the US!!!!!

Just a few years out of Uni, I worked in the Design department of modestly-sized exhibit firm, whose management had wagered heavily on the expansion of the internet and landed a bunch of 1st-gen streaming media development clients that wanted trade show booths to enhance their exposure right around that time - but we never even got past the conceptual development presentation process with them before many of those companies were suddenly in a very bad way and had their promotion budgets severely restricted or eliminated, leading them to renege on their contracts. With low seniority, I was among the first in the company to be released late that summer in 2000. Surprisingly, the exhibit firm itself continued to remain in operation for a number of years after my dismissal, but I don't think think they dealt too much with "tech" firms after that.

My 9 year old daughter and I love DHMIS. She was 7 when she first caught me watching it, and even with its dark undertones, she absolutely loved it. We (like many other people), and keeping our fingers crossed for a Season 2 of the TV show, a few new webisodes or even a release of the full missing original pilot episode of DHMIS.
