Nobody talks about 1:21 but it feels like the most jokey-joke of the series. Much of the comedy in dhmis relies on subtlety to curate its humor, as it doesn't want to explicitly detract from the horror themes it builds up throughout the episode. But this one in particular has so much purposeful setup - setup that we're used to not expecting - that it really fuels the punchline tremendously.

What's unique about the setup is that the song uses multiple lyrics to lay out the idea that they are hyperfocusing on making the pie, and the punchline hits when the two are revealed to have actually forgotten about the funeral because they were baking. This takes more than 10 seconds of build-up before the joke can actually land effectively. >10 seconds is a lot of time for a joke, by dhmis's standards.
Oh and at Electracey’s part, just imagine her continuing to say “TRY IT” to the point where Harry Peterson (Red puppet/The red string creature/Harry) throws her out the window
