Top 10 movies from the 80s. These are the movies that people where watching in the United States from 1980 to 1989. A quick disclaimer. I did a ton of research to find the numbers, and I found that there are so many different numbers. I used box office numbers I felt were the most accurate.

Transformer Toy History - 1980
Просмотров 8 тыс.Год назад
Kids who grew up in the 80s, like me, couldn’t get enough of these transformer toys. Robots that could transform into cars, planes and big semi trucks. What young boy didn’t want this under the Christmas tree. Transformers - along with G.I. Joe - was one of the best selling toys of the 80s in America. But it didn’t start in America, and these toys weren’t always known as transformers. Take we t...

Love the 80s. Fashions. Compare that fashions
Ah yes, the world's most disgusting candy lol.
I was born in 1990 so I just barely missed it . I wish we could bring some of these styles back
Is int funny tht this style is back now like it never left ..there is really nthing new..smfh😂
Reebok white high top sneakers and Capezio white dance shoes both warn with leg warmers.
BLAND FLAVOR? NECCO wafers simply taste old-fashioned. LOTS of old candy brands taste great. They are hard to find.
Love my seconds of sweetness. It's the weirdest watch I own but love it the most 😂
Ray bans are still cool and jeans are still ripped😂
some of the 80s trends were awful, but at least effort was put into styling, verses today's generation who don't even try, or even care for that matter. looking lazy is just accepted now
Thanks. Great memories. We played Cooties circa 1960. Also had Silly Safari, Mousetrap, Green Ghost and others. (Green Ghost was circa 1966.) Also played Probe, Sorry!, Password, Scrabble and of course Monopoly. Our family sometimes got goofed up with Monopoly, since we'd want to buy property, etc., for one another.
I drank 2 of mine recently that I kept from 1994. I remember buying them brand new in 94 because it had Cal Ripken on it.
half jean/half fluffy full skirts, short jean shorts with flowery material ruffles-(possibly 90's), two pairs of socks that were two different colors either scrunched or folded, guess jeans with side zippers, flowery blouses with transparent panels.
My favorite
i’m eating them rn watching this
A late 40s woman in the house. We had great fashion, however our hair styles were questionable 😂😂

In the early 90s my boy Ogre was working at Capezio Shoes at an outlet mall, and their inventory never had an exact amount of shoes, so at the end of the day, my closet was full of LA Gears, British Knights, Pumas, Reeboks and of course fine Italian leather shoes made by Capezio.
What about shoulder pads and punk jewellery
When I was a kid I saw one at a toy store and I heard that if you hug them they glowed. So I hugged the hell out of one, by doing so, that meant that its head was beside my ear and I couldn't see if it was glowing or not. I didn't have enough time to figure out any more details before I was led away from the toy display.
my hair stood 8"- 10'' tall on top ..i used an entire can of white /pink WHITE RAIN aerosol daily
at have a pair of L.A.GEAR high tops they have rhinestones & black cut out flowers on them with double shoe strings... i was looking at them this morning like any day now ill be seeing these back out
Material world
I really love everything related to this golden era, it's a shame that I was born in 2001.
Subscribed!!!!!!!!!!!!❤❤
Very nice!
I remember two toned jeans, Benneton, Esprit, Reeboks, anything fluorescent, charm bracelets, swatch, fat shoe laces, starter jackets, members only jackets, Oh and we wore big sweaters, fashion pins, braided headbands, feather hair clips, jelly shoes, friendship bracelets
I have the exact same one filled as well
Just subbed, this content is great!!!
great video, thanks :)
Swatch should have expanded into digital watches and smart phones. They dropped the ball. But who knows. Maybe they did. I stopped following swatch in the late 80s.
This was my childhood friend in the hospital to calm me down
Chocolate Necco are good
I hate the licorice ones!!!
Lisa, a worker for those with autism had told me what Halloween was like in the early 80's. She showed me photos of her and her brothers with the weird cheap masks on Halloween. I think the costumes from the 2000's had better quality since the 80's ones were cheaply made and also creepy. (which could have been intentional but quality of costume products did get better overtime)
In 1980 I was twelve; my brother, 9. We early GenXers would walk the nieghborhood halloween night sans parental supervision, donning flammable costumes and masks made of pleastic and lead, going house to house , yes, even after dark, collectiong the good candy and the bad, the bad being loose pieces of candy corn that might have held poion or pieces of razor blades. Meanwhile, our parents, exhausted from a hard day's work or from early beating the shit of us from some perceived infraction, would be in the living room, watching TV, oblivious to our existence until 10:00 p.m. It was that that some celebrity of the era would appear on the TV and say, "It's 10:00 P.M. Do you know where your children are?" Yes, our parents needed reminders that they had children. These were good days. By 1983-1984, Haloween took on new meaning. Sure, I still loved candy, but that was not the reason for braving the cool night air. By then, we the inventive, we the creative, well, our minds wandered toward the sinister.
GSHOCK is my go to watch brand then it's the SHARK watch then the FOSSIL then the SWATCH
My friend Cathy had the swatch where you can pop out the face, and there was a small gap between the band and back of watch face, Cathy used it a a Roach 💨stash spot and or Beavis and butthead LSD tabs. Those were the best of days
Eating a role with my five year old while watching this
Please tell me this is a drawing of a GloWorm toy from the 80s.
I grew up in the 80's and enjoyed Trick ,or Treating. I remember wearing two costumes. One underneath the first one. The reason why. I'd get a pillow case full of candy. I'd start on my side of town dressed as one thing, and by the time I reached the other end of town ,I'd quickly change to my other costume underneath. Placing my first costume directly in the bottom underneath all my Halloween loot. I would then proceed down the street heading back the way I came towards my house. By the time I had reached home ,my pillowcase was totally full of Halloween treats. I remember going in my room and dumping the whole thing in the middle of my bed. Boy back then we would get the large size candy bars. Sometimes we'd get a gift bag full of goodies . Every once in a while ,I remember getting money. Really wasn't much back then maybe 5 dollars,or ten. Very seldom did we get anything over 20. But boy those were the days.
I LOVE IT!!!! I AGREE WITH YOU 100%. ALL THOSE PRODUCTS ARE COOL THEN. AND THEY ARE COOL NOW!!!
Oh yeah. Loved my pink LA Gear high tops, leg warmers and ripped sweatshirts.
Swatch is one of the best 👌 👍
