Loved it Mark ❤ amazing production . Oh Granada , what a place. I loved the old cobbled walkway up to Alhambra with the statue of the flamenco king. I got up early and had the place to ourselves . I nearly wept when I walked into the cathedral too. What a pace , fancy going again ? 😊
Great review, definitely makes me want to ride it. I’m in the market for a Fat Bob, because I’ve only got time for a few hours a week, these days. But once the kids are grown up and I can get away for a few days at a time, I’ll be thinking of this!
Always look forward to your downloads. Keep up the brilliant content folks!

Hi Mark and Lisa, another alternative to Camping is, Most Campsites have on site Chalets, Vans, Glamcamping Tents for rental. Really reasonable prices per night. I am planning a Spain bike tour in May and this really does appear to be a fantastic compromise. As you said, why load up the bike. Keep In The Wind Cheers
@@russellmanning4439 Yeah that’s good point . I did stay in chalet in Spain some years ago , was with two mates and we each had a tent , but less than 3 tents was chalet that slept 3 So was good choice .
@@russellmanning4439 best wishes mate
Share your pain; its exactly what Lizzie and I said when touring the UK recently, re camping or choosing a guest house or air bnb. Carrying far to much gear and lugging it on and off the bikes at our age was just getting to much; we both ride and split the gear, btw, oh, and we love camping. We mostly have a two-day rule and check out the local area as much as possible. Honestly, the extra money for a room was well worth it, but the UK is very expensive.
@@BionicBikers Yeah you are dead right , uk is so expensive, we camp here , and many places it’s too much money for us . But good old Spain is very reasonable. The camp site was 5 euro less than some hotels we stayed . Crazy . We go to Scotland in spring and will wild camp , as hotels too expensive there and wild camp legal , I love camping but hate campsites . I like to wake alone , just the birds and nothingness. Two day rule is a good one !
@@LeanIntoTheWind wild camp Scotland is the way to go for sure. We may head that way again in June next year maybe September who knows. Interested to know how much the camping is in Portugal as well. Love the vids guys, like some of the artistic edits 🤘🏼not been Spain on the bikes yet but it’s something we want to do like yesterday 😂
Mint!
@@WILKSVILLE thank you 🙏 dude
Please guys! You never screwed up, you did NOT make a mistake. I love your vlogs. Your interplay & photography is so cool. We all do things, in hindsight, that we could do differently. My daughters are fond of saying that I could easily back pack around the world as long as it is between 5 star hotels. never justify yourself to us, your viewers, for just doing what is best for you at the time you do it. I would love to catchup for a coffee next time I am in London. Take care & keep this going, I is part of my ‘motorcycle therapy’
@@PaulMcConnell-p6v Thank you 🙏. Kind words , tbh we take it all back later in the trip the tent becomes vital .. when this way reach out , I love coffee !!! Best wishes dude
@@LeanIntoTheWind Look forward to it
How many more of these are there, they're keepin me sane through the dull northern UK days. Yeah man, always rode with minimal stuff n cant get me head round folk that carry so much stuff and pull trailers, on a bike, each to their own i spose, these days i'm gettin comfort in the van with all, or most, mod cons, but i do miss the days of tarp toothbrush n a burner ❤
@@TheBillybiker1 Glad they helping through the winter . There are 16 . The next 4/5 get better as we spend time in the desert and had more time to film . Ah man I took too much this time , definitely need to re-think . Although the tent saves of arses later in the series . And I do think after that . I will always carry some form of shelter . I took too many clothes only normally take one pair trousers 2 tees . I’ve become a tart . Swapping trousers etc haha Tarp toothbrush n burner best if you can get away with it !
Well, another cracker guys! Heading out that way again early spring next year. Love it!
What month was that? I had that the same reflection on tent vs hotels and I love camping but... sometimes it's just not worth it.
@@UncleLongbeard end Sept and Oct .. I love camping and never thought I’d say that , but prices were so low, campsite was 30euro ffs .
@@LeanIntoTheWind I had that in many places. In Italy we paid once 45 euro per 2 small tents but the b&b was 46 ;)

@@frankmlchaelglasscock6539 ah I love it Man some of best sunrises been out in the wild I love camping hate camp sites and hate carrying too much haha
Totally hear you about hotel v camping. It's all about what works best for the trip really. Just about the rules on camping in Spain. You CAN but the rule is you should pitch at sunset and pack up at sunrise. Maybe just take a tarp, a double wool blanket and a couple of foam mats cause that time of year you dont all the super warm stuff as its not freezing cold. Plus a tarp means lighter and a nice open space to look out at the stars at night. Either way, great series and LOVE the fascination at the vending machine 🤣
@@whatsnottohike yeah I hear you on that : I’ve been re thinking , for that trip I should not have took it, I got tarp and love wild camp . But with Lisa a lot to ask For hygiene reasons haha . She does wild camp on this trip , but not out of choice The Gods go against us later : But yeah I’m looking forward to going again and much lighter , but learnt one should always have a shelter . But yes blanket as doubled up to use on beach in day for laying on , and can get away with it for wild camp . Our therm-a-rest mats lighter and smaller than foam mat. I am gonna put together the lightest emergency wild camp set up ,
@LeanIntoTheWind yeah i have the thermarest mat as they are super light and warm. You can even get double hammocks which are super light and easy to pack. Love a hammock i do. I was gonna ask about the weather as i know when you were over Spain had a LOT of rain, even more since you left. Unreal this year rain wise. I imagine next year it'll be back to normal as this year was el niño and it's always bad. But as you say, when you can get a great hotel for €35 it makes sense. 👍
I got El Rocio on my "to do" list for a long time
@@UncleLongbeard Worth the journey !
Thanks for sharing. Whether camping or hotel I love the uncertainty of a trip...long day or short day...not much planned and with people you want to be with. Great guitar playing ...was that the legend at the end?
@@Justpassingthrough68 yes yes the uncertainty is king ! Some busker at the end , lovely playing by the cathedral
Quite a terrible day but that sandy town is gorgeous. But I hate the sand :D BTW. Two things which are really helpful with poisoning (at least for me in most of the cases) is activated charcoal and a few drops of black pepper vodka (home made)
@@UncleLongbeard oh thanks 🙏 I’ll write the tip down , that made for a long day !

This looks and sounds amazing. Thank you so much for this video. After selling my dyna low rider S, I’ve had a hard time coming around to the Milwaukee eight sound (compared to the twin cam). But this sounds great! What upgrades from stock are you running (pipes, cams, tuner, ect)? My wife and I currently ride a 2023 1290 Super Adventure S. Amazing bike for Dallas, Texas traffic but I don’t get any of the peaceful vibes that I had on my dyna. I want that feeling of being in the moment again and not one of being angry all the time, ha.
@@dpinedoblog Thanks man . After my evo I missed the sound more than anything, this is so civilised. It sounds better on video than real life , as microphone on sissy bar . So picking up nice . Only change to pipes are Vance Hine slip on . I want to change full exhaust, but some countries in Europe clamping down on loud pipes and I mean they take ya bike away unless you go straight to a garage and change it . We love travelling Europe too much to risk that , so putting up with this . Cam standard . It’ll never sound like the evo or twin cam , but for what we doing , this motorcycle is the right choice . Doing us proud. You got the right bike for traffic though man ! We mainly use ours to go away escape run and not often enter the city . Best wishes bud

Ronda is amazing. For anyone planning to go there, there is a fantastic museum, with pretty much everything in it, with 2€ entry, near the bridge, but the other side of the gorge to the bull ring.
