- There was this one guy... and then another... it didn't take long and we were seven.
Bikers are a sociable bunch for the most part. But it ain't all roses. This is a story about two wheeled friendship, finding pals on the road and where the friendships lead.

Your videos just keep getting better. There is nothing on RUclips at the moment particularly in the field of biking that is any match for what you do. Wonderful story telling combined with an outlook on life born of plentiful experience,a lot of hard knocks and a fair bit of wisdom. All this conveyed with poetry in the telling and stunning film making. I’ve always believed, as someone said, we should always cherish our rebels, our eccentrics and our nonconformists. True. Lost my mate Dobbo like 42 years ago, we'd been drinking together catching up. Afterwards he went home, got on his bike &:went to a party & crashed on the way home. I had a truck pull out on me yesterday, some sixth sense made me roll off the throttle & cover my brakes, just squeezed passed his bumper. But I love it too man. As Burt said, "you live more in 5 minutes. ... ".

I know how much it hurts to loose someone you love,I lost my wife 8years ago, we both loved motorcycles,..out of respect,..I removed the pillion seat off my bikes..But when I ride,I can still feel her arms around me, RIDE TO LIVE,LIVE TO RIDE,...TAKE CARE SON,

Hi Mark and Lisa, its took me a few days to write this comment. This hit me quite hard having lost a few good old friends to bike accidents, cancer and other things. As you know, I've recently beat cancer and a heart attack and think myself lucky (so far) but everyones luck runs out at some point. Proud of you Mark for beating the drink and drugs problems and you too Lisa for standing by your man. Its not an easy thing to do for either of you so, well done. As always, fantastic story telling and editing. Stay safe both of you ❤

And here I am, 6 months after crashed my bike on the black early spring ice and hurt my knee badly ... Just now started to walk almost like a normal person and what i'm doing .. Looking at cruiser bikes for sale and new one.. Born crazy in 86' .. Best thrash metal era.

These videos have come at the right time for me, they are so very therapeutic and a reminder that even if things get in the way or life goes to shit at times, if we’re still afforded the time; we can get out there and do what makes us feel alive. I’d cancelled my upcoming solo trips because I’ve been feeling crappy, but I’m going to go. Fresh air and adventure never made anyone feel any worse after all! RIP Robbie x

Grow up in the 80s and early 90s smoking weed drinking white lightning and 20/20 camping out bmx motorbikes that were falling apart doing stupid shit seen to many good friends die.... but all said and done it was the best time to grow up....
Now I'm T total sober as they come just live to ride and ride to live

I have lost some amazing friends along the way, several on their bikes (mostly late 70s), but like you I've lost them through many other causes, too. What a testiment to the life we choose. Been through two back operations and two cancer operations. My main thought through all of them was ..will i still be able to ride.. so i exercise, weight train ,whatever it takes, damn the pain it takes to get me there im getting back in that saddle ...i always get back. Yea, ive got some issues....another great story in my lean into it binge...what a pleasure finding this channel has been. I hope you do this forever, none better.

I fell in love with the freedom of bikes when I read jupiters travels as a very young man it had an effect on my mental attitude that has stayed with me since! Part 1and Part2 of your story do the same you seriously need to write a book! Thank you for taking the time to do what you do and keep doing it 👍 your words and film making have far more impact than you probably know thank you👌🫶💪
Ah Ted Simons Jupiters travels and follow up book where he retraces his journey 30 years later … are among my top ten books of all time . I have read them many times over and given Jupiters travels away many times to pass on the inspiration. Then re bought and read and passed on .
Great that you found that as a child . I am humbled by your generous words … I was nervous about putting this video up . I am loving reading so many kind words about it . I’ve had an incredibly busy week and only had one night free to make it , that was Wednesday, me and Lisa rode Robby’s old favourite ride along the seafront and filmed it .. as the sun went down then I was up till 2am editing and finding all the other clips … doing the voice over … I’ve never put together a video so fast . But knew it was the only time I had . As I was up at 5.30am for work .. luckily it went pretty smoothly, voice over was done it one take . Someone was on my side .

Hi Mark , what a story i have written 2 bike's and a car off when I was 17 in 1980 broken neck ,back, and some 30 odd bones ohh and lost my spleen. At 62 as the Elton John song says "I'm still standing" maybe I'm lucky but everyday i wake up and my elbows aren't touching wood !! it's a great day. I know what it's like to be broke , have a couple of pound but I have lived my life no regrets.

Thank you 🙏 dude ! I had super busy week and the only window of time was Wednesday night after work , so it was filmed , narrated and edited that evening , the narration was one hit , so that was lucky , I finished the edit at 2am and went to work at 5.30am .
It was a mad rush , but when I watched it back the next night .. I was happy and think Robbie would love all the kind words and attention.
