Don’t worry your no Danny Hayes. This channel is way better. Had to laugh when you said about the camping equipment. I remember a few years back me and the better half felt so guilty that we were staying in hotels rather than camping we popped the tent up in the room and camped the night. The camp fire was a bit shite but we ended up watching a RUclips video of a fire pit to give it some authenticity. Great video can’t wait until the next one.
Love your vids, just ran across them. I have plenty to catch up on. I live in North Louisiana and we have to ride to Arkansas or Texas to see new stuff. Same wind and rain just the town names are different. Be safe
Great to see you having a good time in Spain. The great thing about southern (and eastern) Europe is that you can holiday so cheaply. Sure camping and cooking your own food is less expensive but you get to a time when the riding is great but you want some comfort in the evening. We tour on my Road King and stay in a variety of cheap and expensive hotels but it's still vastly less expensive than northern Europe or the UK. You can have a long day exploring because you know in the evening you can relax in comfort. I would recommend that you ditch the camping gear for Europe and really explore. In some villages in Spain and Portugal you can stay in 'bed and breakfast" places where you are essentially staying in someones home where they cook for you and you can really get into the culture - for next to no money. My days of 500 miles a day touring are over; 250 miles a day is more than enough to enjoy the landscape and see the country and not wear yourself out especially if you're on an long trip.
As much as I love camping , I totally hear that .. for certain countries makes 100% sense . So many benefits.. and the times we did cook when camping it Cost us more than eating out . Go figure. Thanks mate
