ah, you skipped the best part: France refused to organize due to expenses, 2nd runner-up Monaco did the same,3rd runner-up Luxembourg also said NO, now the best part is Yugoslavia wanted to host, but Eurovision wasn't really amused by the idea of holding contest in the communistic country, BBC was not in the mood but that's why they organized in the studio.

people are blind. the song contest is about the melody, the vocal, the staging. cha cha cha is just about being a "funny" televote song. tattoo much better, and she came in second on televote so there wasnt a very big difference in the results at the end.

re: Poland - LUNA “The Tower”: If you've seen the preview video, you'll notice it includes a chess game. The person on the horse is representing the knight (a chess piece), and the towers on stage represent rooks (aka castles) - another chess piece. The chess game in the preview video also explains the chess board effect on the stage floor.

J'aime la vie is one of my favourites *hides*

Angelina was my absolute favourite this year (Also La noia is one of my all time favourites in ESC songwise) and I was really heartbroken that they failed with the ESC staging and ended up getting a worse result than what they actually deserved. Also as you said, more than wishing to see her returning in the next 5-10 years (Although it means winning Sanremo again but if both Mahmood and Marco could do it in the last 2 years then she absolutely can do as well!) and having her Marco Mengoni storyline redemption (And better even more than 4th place). This woman is a really special talent and she really deserves the world ❤🇮🇹
