I think after the Grand Final, Rim Tim Tagi Dim will go global. It will certainly find a market in the UK and Ireland, plus the song will definitely be in the top 5 in Eastern Europe!
it should find a place in Ireland because a big part of Croats that left due to economic issues (where he drew inspiration from) went to Ireland. There are also a bunch of them i the Netherlands, Germany and the nordic countries.
Jamala, who is a vocal jury on the ukrainian vidbir, said yesterday that Portugal, Luxembourg and Germany are her top 3 from the first semis (not including Ukraine) and they will be very high in the juries. First place will probably be Switzerland, and the second one by juries she sees Ukraine
@@eurovisionhistorieshe killed it in the semi. I loved his song before but that performance was what I was hoping would made others love him as well. He is great!
Except for Portugal, I hope she will be as right as Ruslana was ten years ago about Belgium. Although I am mainly interested in the public voting anyhow. So if Germany got an Nathan Trent type of result, I'd be fine with that.
According to the odds, Olly Alexander is on the 7th place BY JURY after delivering the worst vocal in the first semi, while Portugal is on the 17th. I think no more comments needed on these. Odds are not reflecting anything.
He wasn't even competing what are you talking about? His vocals weren't THAT bad. His voice was rather good and the staging was really good. The juries will like it based on commerciability even if the public dont like it!
@@TheManInBlueFlamesI think the public would love it more if the chore was a bit toned down. It's a great song, the staging is awesome and he is a great performer so it's a shame.
I posted a comment yesterday but now I can't find it. I wanted to tell you I was watching the pre-show on SVT yesterday and Farah Abadi was interviewing this little boy about his love for Eurovision - and he said he watching Eurovision Histories!
Lithuania really love eurovision songs. I love that country. But then I'm a bit fan of the Baltics :) You should also check if the eurovision CD is charting somewhere after the show as I have a hunch a few people might have bought it. On the other hand France!!!! I'm not sure what kind of format they buy music from in France. Maybe gramophone shellacks.
I'm actually surprised at how low the figures generally are, and in particular those for Ireland. Could it be that not all streams/sales have been considered due to copyright laws and/or specific chart rules?!
The reason Teresa & Maria isn't on the first place is this song - "Артем Пивоваров x Klavdia Petrivna - Барабан". Check it out if you like Ukrainian music. :) Thank you for the review! Excited to watch the show tonight.
Baby Lasagna is currently 20th in the worldwide chart on itunes

I live in Australia and I heard it played at my gym!

Yes, I can confirm 😅
And we love them!
Or they just don't use Spotify?😆
Almost as much as Sweden.
All the 5miinust streams from Croatia are probably me.

Hope she is right for Germany

That is correct. Can you believe that when the jury odds were released, Finland was above Portugal?

I just heard Austria being played on a local EDM radio station here in Las Vegas, Nevada !!!

Thank you! I will look for it ;)
I just spat out my tea in delight at the thought of Kurt Calleja charting in Malta 😂😂 that’s so random, I love it
I hadn't seen it before and was like... Whaaaat.
Still don't know how to pronounce his last name 🥹🥹

Bias
It seems like it is in general really hard to chart in the UK and France.
Did you see that Conchita posted on social media that she's obsessed with Luktelk? Big love to Conchita.
You should show us Lithuanian top 100 😂
I just had a look at it and it's very good. I may have to tune into radio lithuania after eurovision.
La noia after Sanremo was very high in italian charts, number 2 then number 1 i think, plus all of sanremo songs were charting on italian charts

I also would have expected the numbers being quite a bit higher.

My takeaway is that Lithuania's music market is dictated by Eurovision lol
The website doesn't even know what candidate FInland is going this year with.
It shows both... Käärijä is just still more popular.
It shows all Eurovision songs
10k subs by Grand Final - yes or no?
Europapa is #1 in Finland rn
