I don't really have the means to try it myself right now but i am sure it might spark your interest! It is called the the "Tequila Tailrise" (named after Tails the Fox) basically it is 1 shot of Tequila and 2 shots of Batida de Coco mixed in a long glass with an ice spear and after that you mix equal parts of orange and pineapple juice with 2-3 dashes of orange bitters in the shaker and pour it in over a spoon like a sunrise and garnish with some mint. much love from germany btw❤

    • @bacondrinks1011
      @bacondrinks1011 6 месяцев назад

      @@s.o.g4247 hahaha or hope you do like it so you can use all of your product. But look at it as an investment. Rose water and orange flower water are very common ingredients in just about any type of orgeat. Some cocktail recipes even call for drops into the drink. Your Demerera sugar that you will purchase is used in tons of tropical cocktails as well as classics like the old fashioned. Appleton estate can be used in any cocktail that calls for a Jamaican rum... I mean just about everything that you purchase for it, you can or will use again at some point in your cocktail journey. And they all stay good for a very long time except for the almond milk. If you dont like almond milk just purchase a small bottle, if you have any excess just drink it instead of whole milk to get lean for summer lol

    • @s.o.g4247
      @s.o.g4247 6 месяцев назад

      Ahahah. I agree with u. Most of the stuff I can use and will use, not sure about the pap rum tho. What’s the shelf life of the orgeat once made? And what’s the shelf life on the rose water and and blossom water once opened?

    • @bacondrinks1011
      @bacondrinks1011 6 месяцев назад

      @@s.o.g4247 not too sure about the waters, I think a year or two. And the orgeat lasts a pretty long time because there is more sugar than almond milk and it has a full ounce of rum. I would try to use it within two-three weeks if you can because that when it's most fresh.

    Cointreau is actually a triple sec, so it's a little bit incorrect to talk about it as a susbstitute

    • @bacondrinks1011
      @bacondrinks1011 6 месяцев назад

      Well for drinks like these, "triple sec" usually refers to lower quality or "well" triple sec from brands like Dekuyper etc that are actually labeled Triple Sec. Yes, Cointreau is a triple sec but I was simply trying to make a distinction that I was using Cointreau and not what the recipe called for. So in this context, I think saying that I am using it as a substitute is appropriate. I also want to avoid as many side tangents as possible to make the video flow better.
