Paw Paw! Wow! I have NEVER seen a drink using this! Love the original takes man.! You did have me nervous with that knife work tho, glad you kept your finger. Id love to try a Paw Paw cocktail, but no way to get a hold of them where I am, sadly.
Yeah super hard to find! And yeah I just starting cutting it without a plan haha I thought about peeling it first, but then I was like nah. Thanks for the comment Dave!
Patrick, it is getting close to two months since you have put out a video. I am really hoping that you are not giving up on the channel. You do a really great job, and you have a really good presence on camera. Your love for the topic comes through and your enthusiasm is contagious. I know life gets busy, and if that is what it is, we all understand, but I think we are all waiting for you to come back.
Mr.Hubbard, Life does indeed get busy, as it has for me. But dont worry, I am actually working on videos as we speak. Videos will resume this Friday! Thank you so much for looking out and being a subscriber!
I'm kind of surprised you haven't done a Bentons Old Fashioned yet. I mean, it fits you perfectly. The whole time you were working, that knife into the Paw Paw I was holding my breath. Thanks for introducing a fruit I've never heard of. 🍸 cheers to another awesome video.
Definitely trying it this year. Where I live pawpaws are abundant. Last year I picked maybe 100 on my kayaking trips. Plenty of room for trail and error. Thanks for the vid man.
Thanks! And anytime! I dont or didnt have many to workshop with. I would wait till they are a little more ripe than the ones in the video to get the best color and flavor. Appreciate the comment
Living in Northern Canada, Paw Paw is pretty much impossible to get here. In watching this video, it might be best to juice the fruit just before you make the drink. Seemed like two sips and the drink would be empty. Excited for what's going to happen next!
Yeah it just doesn't have that same intense flavor that the fiber provides in my opinion. Making a puree or figuring out some way to do a concentrate could be ideal.
We all strive to be as talented as Father Bacon one day.
ONE DAY
