Fire Alarm Test #63
Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing fantastic! Here is a bit of an interesting system. This is an old FCI 7200 Addressable system tied into an old Honeywell DeltaNet FS-90 Fire alarm panel from the early 80’s. Both systems are working. The FCI system was added back in the early 90’s to use addressable smoke detectors. All signaling devices are Wheelock MT’s. However every single one of them is set to a different coding option. This was a chaotic one. I hope you enjoy!

Hello everyone! This is a test of a Silent Knight 5208 system in a large storage facility! All of the horn strobe are mix match, but a majority of them are Gentex SHG’s. I forgot my ear protection this day and this was super loud. I hope you enjoy!

Hello everyone! Here is a test I did last April on a FiQuench 10-038 Halon 1301 Fire Suppression system. During this inspection, I removed 2 devices. 1 Hochiki smoke detector head & A Wheelock 7002-24. Both devices have since been repaired and are now in my collection. I hope you enjoy!

Hello everyone! This is a Test of a Small FCI-4224 system in a DayCare facility. 3 horns, 8 pulls and 8 smokes. All devices here have since been replaced due to the age of them. All devices are in my possession. This upgrade was required due to the volume of the devices that failed inspection and to keep the kids safe. I hope you enjoy the last test this neat system saw! Hey everyone! This was a test of a Simplex 4100U Addressable Voice Evacuation Fire Alarm System. The purpose of this test was to locate an open circuit on a speaker circuit somewhere in the facility. We checked all speakers and all were functional. I hope you enjoy!

This is a test of a Simplex 4010 & 4008 located in a department store. The 4010 protects the 1st and 2nd floor of the main store. They then expanded into the next suite over which had the 4008. They are not currently tied together, however a quote is going out to do so. I hope you enjoy!

I assume this is in an anchor store at a random mall--as my local mall has them in the hallways, but they are mounted on the ceiling. I believe they were designed to be mounted either on the wall or the ceiling.

What gets the most is the wording, it’s very powerful, hearing someone talk like that you know you are done for.
I remember at my old middle school they had the genesis and then for one of my teachers in her classroom she didn’t have any posters and so every time that the alarm go off, always scared me because it was so much louder because I said no posters I like and used to freak me out a lot
At my old middle school they had this bell’s and the alarm always scared the crap out of me every time😂

I like how they have a Family Gard FG200 next to a Wheelock AS I never understood why residential smoke detectors are sometimes placed in commercial buildings, I would think it would be a code violation.
