- Hey everyone. Finally have a new fire alarm inspection to show you all. This is the first system I’ve done in a while worth showing so here you go.
This is an old system in a church. They recently updated the panel to a Kidde Vigilant VS-4 panel. All of the original devices are still up and are on zone modules. I had to reset after each alarm due to the age of the system and the way it was programmed. The equipment in this church was the following:
Kidde Vigilant VS-4 Fire Alarm Control Panel
Mirtone 72301 Manual Pull Station
Kidde K-270A-SPO Manual Pull Station
Edwards 6269B Photoelectric Smoke Detector
Edwards EC30U-3 Photoelectric Smoke Detector
Edwards 281B Rate Of Rise/ Fixed Temp Heat Detector
ESL 711U Photoelectric Smoke Detector
System Sensor 2400 Photoelectric Smoke Detector
System Sensor 2100S Photoelectric Smoke Detector
System Sensor 2W-B Photoelectric Smoke Detector
Kidde-Fenwal DH-22 Ionization Duct Smoke Detector
Wheelock EHS-EL1 Electronic Horn Strobe

Church + EHS-EL1s = Amazing
Gotta love the EHS-EL1s! Very cool alarms ngl. Also idk why ppl say they sound like Truealerts. They sound only a tiny bit like them, they sound more like a continuous version of the Wheelock MT code 3 tone but with two different frequencies. They also have slightly different pitches. In fact, they sound a lot like a Simplex 4903-9236 rather than a Truealert
The EH series alarms are in my opinion the best 90’s electronic horn! I have an EHS-EL1 in my collection and it’s a nice device
I really need to get my hands on one. Would go great with my 7002T
1:21 Thank goodness that's outside.
Nice system!
Awesome video man!
Wheelock EH System Sensor Spectralert classics are cool
ayyy another fire alarm test! those alarms really are quiet though... and few and far between
I wonder if they replaced a simplex alarm
I really don't like continuous it's very annoying Code 3 is the best and that's a very nice church
Agreed. Continuous gets on every last one of my nerves! Luckily, I’ve never heard a continuous alarm in-person.
@@IHeartAGM I got stuck with a mix of continuous Wheelock 10" bells and System Sensor 6" bells at my school
Cool!
Cool!
Cool!
i never seen a FOS like that
Those FOS looking alarms are Wheelock EH-EL1s. No Faradays on this system
