- Hello everyone! This is a test of a Silent Knight 5208 system in a large storage facility! All of the horn strobe are mix match, but a majority of them are Gentex SHG’s. I forgot my ear protection this day and this was super loud. I hope you enjoy!

This is what my elementary school had! All third gen SHG's. (With a few commander 2's, 3's and one GMS outside) Only ours were all set on continuous
Update on these system:
This was recorded back in October. All damaged devices have since been replaced. I was not the one who did the replacements so I don’t have any of these devices. Most of the system is still intact however. All of the 3rd Gen SHG’s can last another 20 years if needed. I hope this answers some questions!

My local storage facility also has a Silent Knight system but with Wheelock AS’ and RSS’.
Wow! These SHGs are way out of sync and this system is really loud. Those SHGs are really cool. Any other late 1990's device out there; Simplex 4903 Electronic Horn Strobes, QuickAlerts, 1st Generation SpectrAlerts, Wheelock MT, just such classics.

Do you have any recommendations on how to get started in this field? I went to trade school for electrical where I took a one month course on fire alarm systems. I've applied so many places and they all require some sort of experience. Any advice is appreciated :)
Did u fix the gentex strobe?
A entire system with most devices being gentex commanders

These sgentex strobes are known for this. It happens a lot with vertical Gentex strobes. Except the GXS.
