  • Hello everyone! This is a Test of a Small FCI-4224 system in a DayCare facility. 3 horns, 8 pulls and 8 smokes. All devices here have since been replaced due to the age of them. All devices are in my possession. This upgrade was required due to the volume of the devices that failed inspection and to keep the kids safe. I hope you enjoy the last test this neat system saw! Enjoy!

Gotta love all the different older Wheelock alarms on this system, especially the EHS and 7002T

I like how they have a Family Gard FG200 next to a Wheelock AS I never understood why residential smoke detectors are sometimes placed in commercial buildings, I would think it would be a code violation.

That's a pretty cool system! The EH and the 7002T fit together!

My preschool had a system similar to this. It had a Silent night sk-4 with 2 7002ts a EH-DL1 and for outdoor devices a WMT. the pulls were all fire lite bg-8s the smokes were replaced with I3's no idea what the original were.

Lucky you that you saved another 7002T!

I’m assuming. I have never been to this location prior, but that seems accurate.

Dude. You couldn’t have just replaced the 7002T?

    • @a.r.aproductions1569

The 7002T, EH & AS were all replaced by System Sensor L series devices to meet local code. I still have all of the devices. We also replaced all the pull stations and the 2 ionization smoke detectors.

    What replaced this system?

    • @a.r.aproductions1569

Panel is still the same. We replaced all the pulls with FireLite BG-12’s, Smokes with System Sensor 2-WB’s, & horns with system sensor P2RL.

@@a.r.aproductions1569 surprised the panel is the same. I thought it would be a small Honeywell panel (like a Fire-lite/notifier panel) or an EST system. That’s what I’ve seen appear more and more often around me. Businesses really like the cheap option when it comes to fire alarms.

@@a.r.aproductions1569 Surprised the pull stations were also replaced. Not often I see pulls get replaced with newer pull stations. My local Walgreens has an FCI FC-72 system that used to have Space Age VA4s and FCI MS-2s. A few years ago, the Space Age devices were replaced with P2RLs and one PC2RL, but kept the panel and pull stations. They even added a System Sensor MDL3R sync module.
