Ok I have 3 Nikon z30 I run a podcast so only me I set cameras then go back and by time I’m done one is out of focus how do I keep them all IN focus! Remember only me and guest so I have nothing to focus on when setting up

Im owning this lense but its terrible ,no sharpness,verry slow focus,i doubt i got defect one.with z30.

Think poorly lit gym with fast moving subjects (basketball game). Even when shooting a fast 2.8 zoom your iso can quickly get up into the 6400 range.

Can you try mimic any of the log profile look like F-log or N-log as a picture control for nikon z30? The flat profile is not nearly as flat as the log profile are. Btw I shoot mostly outside in natural light.

I have this lens and I am trying to use it for video. I cannot get it to consistently auto focus like the kit lens. Is it not good for video. I would like to vlog with it.

For me i think canon r50 is better than nikon z30.raw video nikon not good like canon

the biggest difference was the lenses used. It can be seen that the z30 lens is superior due to the sharpness obtained.

well to be honest almost any camera is good for photography like i have a canon 600d that's like a decade or so old and its still great not surprising that a camera thats 10 years newer can also take good photos

One thing I've noticed is the prices of cameras are twice the price compared from 10 years ago but the megapixel count is the same. I have an Sony Nex 5n and the fullHD video is great if you have correct light setup and the photos are great too if you have good light setup. It's would be interesting if you bought a older sony camera and took the same picture. Would it show that much of a difference?

z30 + r50 - Im sony

GoPro faired well. I’m tinkering with the z30 I just received along with an adapter for some mount lenses as I dumped the Sony system in favor of nikon. Yikes, the colors are so rich compared to Sony big time. Anyway, will try your flat profile and if it looks good, the others as well. Thanks senor ST. :)

8 Bits is quite noticeable on the wall. It's conpounded even more with the compression from RUclips.

Better and better iso performance is a market requirement for camera manufacturers. Nowadays tele zoom lens are with small aperture in order to make smaller sizes and light weight . Birds shooting might require iso 8000 up to frozen the moment. Nikon Zf performs great but market wants more. Thank you
