Just bought mine last weekend. First dedicated camera I ever bought completely new to the photography scene and prepping my first ever trip to Asia so as i'm never happy with smartphone pictures I needed something that can capture memories as pure as possible. I love how the Fujifilm cameras are hands-on packed with settings and control over every detail on the images to be taken yet still remain accessible enough to learn as I get into it. It's stylish and portable enough to allow for taking it with me on small city trips. I've had 4 awesome days out and about with it already right after purchasing it. I'm looking for many more years with it! Amazing shots worth every penny without breaking the bank on that huge price tag of the X-T5
I bought my XT3 brand new in December of 2022 at $820. I was searching for it used but my local camera store had a brand new one 160 dollars more. I’m extremely grateful to have one of the last few brand new XT3s. Reality the XT3 is solid cheap “cinema” camera. I’ve used it on shoots and man I love it especially pairing it up with microprime cine lenses 🤌
I recently upgraded my girlfriends xt2 and grabbed the xt3 but I might just go for the xt4 . One thing that I noticed and maybe I’m tripping but there are less customizable options for the film recipes comoaired to my x100v . I also think she will enjoy the ibis and bigger battery . I personally don’t enjoy the flip out screen for photography but for video that’s another story but I have my Sony a7iv for that .
i have Fujifilm XT3, and its 26 MP is the best it is to my need, in a day-light walk with a style, good photo and video. Yet, i have Sony A7Rii with 42 MP is so big to my need also its file, mostly for night, low and extra low light.
I just found a new copy of the Xt3 at a great price on a clearance sale. I’m replacing my xt2. I love the xt3 I’m super happy with it. I don’t need ibis or the screen of the xt4. I got the xt3 for $1,200 less than the xt4 ( prices are crazy here in Australia). I was worried about the 40mp sensor in low light and noise and wanted to grab an xt3 or xt4 before they are permanently out of stock.
Yes, even here in Canada, the XT3 was very cheap when it went on sale. The XT4 isn’t as cheap now that it’s on sale. I might get an XT4 before it’s out of stock. I’m sure the XT5 is a good camera, but it doesn’t excite me that some people are reporting the body feels cheaper than the previous models.
@@visualsbyst the 4 is the same price as the 5 here right now. I’m kinda hoping they don’t play around with future releases too much like with the x100vi they just leave the censor etc alone and just value add like ibis or a faster lens tbh….
@@hermessonofzeus4462 here the 4 is a bit cheaper than the 5 but not much. Yeah, I agree, but the problem for them is that they have to make more and more advanced cameras but they can’t charge much more, so they have to make compromises somewhere. That’s the disadvantage of the tech race. More advanced but cheaper materials.
Everybody knows as soon as a new model is released, the previous model deteriorates and is no longer fit for purpose. Once the X-T4 was released, my X-T3 lost 2 stops of dynamic range, and for some reason only output 12mp files. Now that the X-T5 is around, the X-T3 is little more than a glorified webcam.
Must be a placebo effect. I know 3 people including me who uses the xT3 for weddings and the things your explaining don’t apply. Are you upgrading your firmware? Is there a setting you’re overlooking? That really sucks to hear. It’s still such a good camera.
@@LightSkinJedi1920 I was being sarcastic, to point out how ridiculous it is to always chase the latest and greatest. I still have my X-T3 and love it. It will be a long time before I hit the limits of what this camera is capable of.
Unfortunately advancing age has bestowed a slow tremor. I kept my XT-3 as I wasn't too sure about the XT-4 upgrades but bought into the XT-5. I haven't used it yet, operates exactly as all the XTs and takes all my Fujion lenses. An expensive upgrade but allows me to continue my photography (plus an even more expensive Peak Design travel tripod!).
I’d pick the Z50, unless you need two card slots and 10-bit video. If you need those, you’d need the XT3. While A6400 is a good camera, I don’t like its ergonomics and the lack of the front dial. But… it’s up to you. Go to a store, pick each up and try them out.
bro. i have a question i want you to answer. it's 2023 for video and photo shooting, do you think i should use xt4 or use xt3 and focus on lens? and i'm wondering if xt3 battery capacity is enough for 1 day no.Hope you will answer my questions. Thanks
I’ll start by saying you should definitely focus on lenses no matter which body you get. Now, the battle between the XT3 and XT4. If your concern is image quality, both the 3 and the 4 are the same. Any differences in image quality are negligible. The few differences that would matter to me are the screen type, the IBIS and, what you already mentioned, the battery. Which screen do you like better? The flip up or sideways, or the fully articulated? It’s up to you to decide. Do you need IBIS? It is pretty useful for any longer exposure still shooting or getting steadier video shots. You can shoot stationary subjects in low light better with IBIS. You can also do this without IBIS with a stabilized lens, but then you have to have one and not all of them are stabilized. Again, it’s up to you. The battery… I never owned the XT4 so I don’t know how much better the battery life is, but I can tell you the XT3 battery is just ok. It definitely won’t last a whole day of shooting, if you shoot heavily, but I don’t think the XT4’s battery will last the whole day either. I think you could get about 350-450 shots on the XT3. That being said, you can buy more than one battery, so it shouldn’t be a huge problem. Those are some things to consider, but it’s up to you in the end.

The X-T3 is still a great camera! I love my X-T3 and never will change it for an X-T5.

I just bought mine used for a great deal. So excited to stroll the city with it! Thanks for the advice
Hope you gain more subs, I love. how you showed the enitre video in low light with no focus issues , just brilliant. Got the XT 3 used , thank you.
Thank for watching!
Bought xt3 first day of this year. I love it. It's got more features than most new cameras.
Dude thanks for sharing this video, I really appreciated your thoughts. I am considering buying this exact camera for the same reasons.
Thanks for watching.
Still have mine with a battery grip, along with my X-T4 (also with a grip) and I love them both !
I still use my xt3 all the time ...great little workhorse
Thank you for your recommendation, looking to buy it

Xt3 forever ❤
I like how dark your video is looks great!
Thank you for watching!
Is that a Zoom h1n youre using as a mic? How have you found it/settings?
Yes it is. I think it's pretty good and I don't mess too much with the setting. I usually set it to 7 or 8 and sometimes clean up the audio in post.

So you bought XT-5 and haven't used it? oO
I am looking for an xt3 myself for pro work.
Get it if it makes sense.
I'm in the process of getting one second hand.......
Xt3 / nikon z50 / sony a6400 . Could you help me choose one ? I want an upgrade from my nikon d3200 .

I am still making bank with the XT3 in 2024 lol.
👍
where to buy it from ? cannot find none
Hard to say, since I don’t even know where you live. You can probably find it used.
Any problems to look for on a used xt3?
Not that I know of, but that all depends on the owner of the XT3.
16 MP is enough for me.
For many it is.
I just picked up a used Fuji XT3 two days ago Excellent condition with 1 year warranty for $940 after tax from Adoroma. Solid video
Have fun!
I've had my X-T3 for 3 years now i bought it brand new and have no intention of changing it
where from ?
