I saw a guy the other day tearing it up on an off road trail with his EUC. He looked like he was having infinitely more fun than me off roading on a scooter haha! And he was riding super fast. I’ll have to hop back on my V8S soon. Not for off roading but just to get back into continuing to learn to ride it well.

Anytime! Yah they mentioned some details are still be ironed out for the final production model. It’ll be interesting to see what they settle on. It’s the biggest scooter I’ve ever seen in person haha.

Yah it’ll be interesting to see how it’s priced. If it comes within $100 of the G2, that would be incredible. They’ve improved this scooter in nearly every way.

Seem claims that it'll be in and around $1000. No less I don't think. It will be more expensive though but not by a wide margin.

Segway has more futuristic design, Vmax has simpler, lower maintenance and higher range features!

Yah man I was walking by their area and saw that thing. It’s huge haha. I think that one is right up your alley. The 13” tires make the Roadster’s look tiny haha. Dude I’m watching those fires on the news and it’s horrifying. Can’t believe they got so out of control so quickly, especially at that scale. Are you and your family safe where you’re at? I just saw another fire broke out in the Hollywood Hills area as well. Lots of firefighters from AZ heading that way to help out. I hope they contain it quick man, absolutely devastating.

@tomsgadgetgarage yeah man its crazy right now. Thankfully, we haven't received a evacuation notification yet, the winds finally cooled down so no more 70Mph winds but the air quality is so bad bro, the sky looks brown in the day time because of the fires. There was even this one palm tree that caught on fire by one of my group ride friends and they weren't sure if it was because of a power line that was rubbing against it or a spark of fire from the ashes traveling in the air. Thankfully the ashes by my house have all been white and dry. We appreciate the AZ fire fighters helping us out. This is definitely nuts. But my wife, kids and i are safe. 🙏

Glad you all are safe. I can’t imagine how bad the air quality is. The videos I’m seeing on the news and X are apocalyptic. Apparently the ash/embers can travel for miles and ignite stuff. I hope you have some indoor air purifiers.

Nope, also Australia, New Zealand, Japan, China, Korea, Singapore. Thus may countries that are the major buyers of their products. When you add Europe, this is a lot of countries that have restrictions.

I do. The XP Lite 2.0 I’m doing a review series on had a bit of knocking going on in the battery compartment so I added felt strips to the battery. Now it’s silent :).

Just saw on the Segway site that it is an additional battery that can give a claimed 135km range, thus a 100km in the real world. This is quite solid!

Yah I had to do a double take when I saw it haha. I wasn’t expecting it. Looks really nice, very curious how it rides. I’m going to schedule a test ride possibly tomorrow or Thursday. I’m even more curious what the price point will be. I’m going to see if they have any timelines tomorrow.

If they can keep it just under $1k, that would be incredible. So much tech in that thing, including turn by turn navigation on screen. And basically every scooter in their lineup shares a lot of the tech.

Yah it appears they are using the same battery the ZT3 Pro has. Good news is that it’s 48v instead of the 36v of the G2. Slightly more fuel in the tank, but considerably more powerful motor. I suspect this will do exceptionally well on hills, especially given how well the ZT3 Pro does on them. Range is the big question mark though.

the G3 has 10km more range than the G2..not much i know. it's a consideration of the total weight

Oh for sure. Sometimes they are too close together and hard to differentiate from the taillight. I’ve also seen some cases where the taillight is red in color, making it even harder to see. The helmet based option is way better.

Yah 2000W peak/850W nominal is a considerable upgrade. Hopefully the price isn’t upgraded too much haha.

@scienceinresearch oh ya I seen the new tech but the navigation I feel is a good gimmick cuz I feel looking at that Lil screen is trouble with taking your eyes off the road. As long as they leave a spot for the phone mount I'll be happy
