I bought 2 XP Lites 2.0 recently. I just bought an extra battery, too. Now I carry 2 batteries in my backpack for way longer range. Plus a complete set of replacement parts, having 2 of the same ebikes. In 2 months, I haven't figured out the range on mine yet @150#. Thanks so much.
@tomsgadgetgarage happy new year! I've never gone below 2 bars yet. I weigh 150#, and I haven't figured out the total range miles yet. No, I haven't changed the battery on long rides yet, I haven't needed to. I will be doing longer rides soon. I love my ebikes.
The manual actually lists the conditions needed for the rated range: - flat ground - few bumps - little to no wind - top speed 20mph - standard Chaoyang tires at 30psi - few starts and stops - no additional cargo - temperature ~75° - rider weight ~180lb
Yah, I’m curious about the 60 miles though. I’ve more or less been able to match or exceed their estimates on a couple other bikes they offer. The 60 seems out there.
I’ve been wanting one of these to test. A simple, light, low maintenance commuter. I’d love the belt drive on a different color. I wonder if they’d do that…
I am really impressed at how this bike can go 30 miles on a 400Wh battery using throttle only when an e-scooter with same size pack will only do half that.
@tosinadesina3137 My XP Lites have 7 AH batteries. The long-range battery was $500 alone, $200 extra if ordered with one. I have 2 XP Lite 2.0, and I bought an extra standard battery on black Friday for $175. I think the long-range battery was on sale for $300. I like the option to carry 2 extra batteries in a backpack or saddlebags for long rides. Happy new year!
For sure. I also like that you can tinker with the acceleration settings if you want a bit more of a boost. Definitely a solid bike, especially for the price. I’ve also found that it’s the easiest to fold of any of the folding e-bikes I’ve tested.
Yah I’ve really been enjoying mine so far. The auto gear shift is a huge plus. When I go back to my standard chain driven, derailleur equipped bikes, I almost feel like I’m using an antique 🤣.

That’s awesome haha. You can ride forever with all those batteries. Have you ever needed swap them out mid ride?

Thanks man! You as well 🎉

Yah belt drives are definitely nice. Would be awesome if they offered it in more colors.
Nice video, very nice bike
Thank you! 😊
Was this the long range battery or just the standard one?
Hey! This was the long range version with the 14Ah battery.
I am really impressed at how this bike can go 30 miles on a 400Wh battery using throttle only when an e-scooter with same size pack will only do half that.
This bike has 672wh. 48v x 14 = 672wh.
@ That’s the standard version. In the video he says he has the long range version.

Scooters also have to deal with more aerodynamic drug due to the fact that the rider is standing upright.
Not bad for a 300 watt motor. What is the battery capacity?
So this one has a 48v 14Ah battery. So 672Wh of capacity. I was honestly surprised the 300W motor made it up the pedestrian bridge.
@tomsgadgetgarage It's a strong motor and very quiet. It gets to 20mph fairly quickly and rides smoothly and stable. I couldn't be happier with them.

The math suggests this bike would only go about 20 miles. Just a tick over 30 miles is exceeding expectations.
Yah I was happy with the range, especially out of a smaller, lightweight bike.
Not a bad way to end 2024
For sure! Love riding in the winter months when it’s not a million degrees out haha.
Did it overheat because your video stops and starts several times
Hello! I didn’t experience any kind of overheating 😊.
@@tomsgadgetgarage good to know I just ordered the same bike extended range battery and that was my concern
Can I assume the lectric1 will be similar?
If I recall correctly, the ONE got a bit better range. Here’s a link to that test here: ruclips.net/video/6wVq9F4tUro/видео.html
@@tomsgadgetgarage Wow, I usually use pedal assist 3 with pedaling. I never knew I can go so far. Actually it’s a great bike.
