I've listened to this man and have read through his comments. Judging from the way he deflects good questions with a ''You're Funny'' as an answer, I think he lacks the maturity to understand that Australia is not for him. It boils down to his personality and values, which are a by-product of his... Maturity.

My GG came to this shitty coubty in the Roaring 20s. Canada is a socialist cojbtry with a terrible leader named Justin Trudeau, weather are 5(not 2024 winter in Southern Ontsrio) 5 months were I live and 6 months more North in Southrrn Ontsrio. It more rained in June and July were rainy and humid in 2024. Money does suck in 2024, there are not a lot of Vacstion spots(even though LV Miami Hawaii ans Houston are all overrated travel diststions), and now over 3 decades(Oilers got second place in 2K24). Stereotype of us being anti social(when Covid was the reason for everyone nkt just us Canadians) or the stereotype of being rude outside our social circles when they can be anyone. Yes a lot Canadians are PA but same as Americans.

Hi there Chris, Thank you for your invite to compare countries. This is a comparison in numerical order between my country, Australia and the United States of America >>> 1. Australia is the sixth largest country and has "more beaches than any country - over 10,000 - and more than 85% of people live within 50km of the coast." If you visited an Australian beach every day, it would take 27 years to see them all. 2. We have 170 National Parks show casing biodiversity ranging from Alpine snow fields to Tropical Rainforests. (There are no rainforests in USA's 63 National Parks.) 3. OMG! SAFE? 21% higher total crime rate with 57 times more violent crimes and 7.6 more homicides than Australia. We have strict gun control laws, low crime rates, and a stable political environment. The third (and last time) anyone tried to injure/kill a politician here was in 1966. Arguably this occurred in the USA TODAY! Also, our cops don't kill as many citizens, nor do we lock our children into classrooms with bulletproof backpacks to "protect them." women are 13 times more likely to be raped and it's NOT okay to grab them by the pussy! 4. The minimum Federal wage has been stagnant in the USA at $7.25 since 2009 creating that disgusting voluntary tipping system where customers decide if servers are worthy of tip to boost thir income to feed their families. The minimum wage in Australia increases every year and is now $US16.35 since July 1 2024. Guaranteed Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness except we Expect to live longer in Australia with better food choices, less obesity and a more active lifestyle. 5. There are 93% more highways in Australia linking our remotest areas to our coastal capitals and QANTAS Airline is the Safest airline in the world, (ask Raymond in "Rainman" movie) Australia also boasts a high standard of living, with higher wages and a better quality of life. The country’s strong economy, efficient healthcare system, and well-developed infrastructure contribute to a comfortable and prosperous lifestyle. Australians enjoy access to high-quality healthcare services, ensuring peace of mind and well-being. 6. No one is labelled and put into descriptive boxes Down Under. There are no African Australians or Asian Australians, or European Australians we are just One people even though 30% of us were born in other countries (compared to 15% of people in the United States.) It is so divisive to label people by their origins especially when some people may have been citizens of USA for generations but are still called African Americans. Weirdly, there doesn't seem to be a box for European Americans or British Americans. Why is that so? 7. Argh! The Australian creed of mateship and our relationship with our Kiwi kin across the ditch as ANZACS. It is something that UNITES and NEVER divides us. 8. Repeat statements from other points, so no comments here. 9. It is the isolation of Australia that causes us to be so innovative. Wi-Fi, Google Maps, Blackbox flight recorders, electric drill, ultrasound scanner spray on skin and in 1983 the Winged Keel! BTW>>>Jean-Marie Hullot, a Frenchman invented the iPhone! 10. Freedom is the strangest category of all here and the definition gets lost somehow in the interpretation. I have had two midterm abortions because my children were going to DIE from a genetic disease, (which I am grateful for after watching my six year old daughter die a tormented, painful death.) I had the freedom to choose what decisions I made about my own bodily and how I could protect my precious babies from their fate. No one can imprison me for the choices I make, then or now! Our greatest freedom in Australia is our work/life balance, our "who gives a shit" attitude to politics (I have been married for 43 years and don't know/don't care who my husband or friends vote for...I like people because they are kind and caring!) PS>>> According to Numbeo.com, Australia ranks second in the world in terms of quality of life, and this is evident in our excellent healthcare system, safety measures, educational opportunities, and natural beauty. Maybe that's why every year at least one or two of our capital cities are included on the Top 10 Most Livable Cities in the World List." It's not that I think Australia is the greatest country in the world at all but I do think Americans (from the United States) have a skewed view, especially NOW about freedom and women's rights!

I moved from India to Canada. Got frustrated and moved to the US as soon as I found a job in California. I live in Texas now, I am a US citizen and am much much much happier than I ever was as a "Permanent Resident" in Canada. US is a more accepting society than Canada. Sure there are problems but there are more opportunities and more innovations here to fuel a sustained growth. Canada on the other hand is middle finger approved! Canadians are old, miserable and broke. They do not work, do not produce and do not innovate and are extremely racist. I am never going back. Canada sucks. Canadians suck.

Growing up in northern New England it's almost a rite of passage to make a trip to Montreal before they turn 21 so they can drink and see something different. Went once. I hated it because of all the snobby, rude jerkoffs that inhabit Montreal. It would be the last place I'd ever visit again. Yes winter is long, yes junk food is unhealthy (like in most countries), yes infrastructures tend to be either not 100% or in constant repair...That said, the main complaint seems to be about the French language. Here's the thing; most Québécois are francophones, most French-speakers in Montreal and a big portion in the whole province have learned English. If the English speakers don't want to learn French ...well, that's on them. Learning a second, third, fourth, fifth language is great. All it takes is an open-mind and the will to use your brain. If you can't accept that one place has a national language and (not so restrictive) laws to protect it, you're the one that sucks, plain and simple. I don't know, try to go live in English in Italy or Russia. It's normal to have a national language and there's nothing racist or mean about it. Learning it makes functional in the place and protecting protects the culture of the place.

I think it depends on you, I respect your opinion but I don’t agree. I lived in FL and you don’t go the the theme parks every weekend, is expensive, if you live in Miami yes there is a nightlife but not sure is going to the beach every weekend is something that you always want to do when in NC you have many other options, you are in DC in 5 hours. You are in Atlanta in 3/4 hours, you are in the beach in 3 hours, you can even be in FL in 5 hrs, my point is, human-made things to do is a vacation option that you can do sometimes but when you are near to the mountains, near to the lakes, near to other states it is amazing. If you live in Miami only to get out of the state in your car is 7 hours you have to take a Flight yes or yes while in NC you have plenty of thing to do local or out of state really close. That is my opinion I love Charlotte, I’m from Miami and honestly, my life is better now.
