I'm VERY indecisive and also impatient and a worrier who come from very very judgmental parents so I've literally done nothing with my life up to this point because I'll either just make a decision out of impatience and worry and it'll end up being the wrong thing or I don't make a decision at all. I also care way too much not only what my family thinks, but everyone, I've been stuck for years. This video helped A LOT. Thank you!
I started going with the first thing that appealed to me for example, I used to study the whole menu eating out but now I just pick the first think which I think will be good and stop there! No looking at the rest. You don't miss out on what you dont know about. You can be stoked with the first choice. Ignorance is bliss.
Thanks so, so much for this video. I am autistic and while the “indecisive autistic person” is a cliche, I can completely confirm that it’s true. I make my decisions on a linear, straightforward manner. Good, bad. White, black. Sensical, nonsensical. So when it’s a bunch of different shades of grey, and there are no real rewards or consequences, I get either flip-floppy or stuck.
I am autistic too. I get sorta indecisive about which RUclips videos to see, because there are so many of them. I add the videos of my interest to my Save til later list, and that list is very long now. I've watched some of them but not all of them yet. It's not that big a deal to me, but I would like to be able to decide more quickly some of the time what to watch since when I get indecisive it starts wasting time for me. Some of the time, I decide right away what to watch, no problem. But other times, I can't. And it's about deciding what to watch on my Save til later list, and other times deciding what to add to my Save til later list.
I suffer from indecisiveness since childhood - when in the shop I struggled to know whether to buy crips or sweets. Usually I just copied what others got or later question what I did choose. Told my partner I'm visiting Friday as flight cheaper and can bring over some money. He was silent and I told him not to be quite and I go into thinking mode he don't approve. It made me anxious and I was looking for approval. He annoyed as thinks I need to be honest - ask myself qs do you want to come or not, why you want to come over, are you finding it hard to decide to come over. He wants me to question myself and be truthful. My whole life is about not knowing
This isn't a big problem for me, but it's still something I'm curious about because I tend to sometimes get indecisive about which youtube videos to watch, because there are just soooo many of them. Sometimes I'm fine and decide right away. Other times, I can't and spend alot of time scrolling trying to decide what to watch, or add to my Watch later list next. I get more indecisive on the latter because the general youtube list is longer and has more choices. Once on my watch later list, they're videos i already know are of my interest so I'm less indecisive there (although sometimes I'm a bit indecisive there too). Like I said, this isn't a major issue for me and some of the time I decide right away, but I still have some indecisive times, which was what made me curious about seeing this video about it. Why I get indecisive some of the time? The simple answer is that there is such a huge amount of youtube choices to watch

Yes. Do not overthink the consequencea of your decisions. Just go for it. Listen to your guts. Or silly RUclips channels. Great advice. Do not follow !
I meant that I faced decision paralysis regarding my career choice and I had no gut feeling about that. My abilities were different from my interests. For example I like music, filmmaking, astrophysics and robotics but I don't have extraordinary mathematical and musical intelligence. On the other hand I am good at writing poetry and making paintings using different medium but my actual interests are different. I never wanted to become an architect but I have good visual intelligence. Visual intelligence helps if you are a cameraman in film making industry but I never wanted to become a cameraman. My two top interests i.e astrophysics and music don't ensure financial stability in Pakistan and I am not even sure that I can excel in these fields. I want to stay with my family so I don't want to go abroad currently for studying bachelors. I may go for masters. Only one university is teaching BS musicology in Pakistan and its admissions are closed. Due to currency rate difference between dollar and Pakistan's currency it is difficult for me to afford living cost abroad especially at this level when I want admission in bachelors
Currently Pakistan has no active space programs so finding a job as an astronomer is almost impossible in Pakistan. On the other hand it is quite difficult to earn a living as a vocalist as it is mostly popularity game

Thank you so much! What aspects of the video helps you the most?
Wow, it really is a small world.. your life is exactly like mine, I'm stuck because of my indecisiveness

How are you going to work on that?

What are you going to do about it?
Yes, this is very helpful. Thank you
Glad it was helpful!
I'm working on being decisive with small things in my business. There are a lot of decisions to make. But you can change things later.

Embrace the uncertainty 🙌🏿

Good content.

This very true and relatable.

Glad it was helpful! What did you like most about the video?
No, I'm still indecisive and I need to make a quick decision other than that nothing will come to forution
What so hard about making a decision?
What about when u can’t make a decision and u just ask other people what they rather and u go with their opinion
I tend to do this a lot
Why do you do this?
Yes this has helped. fist time thank you
You're welcome! What did you agree with most?

Thank you! What do you think of the video, though?
Sometimes I’m indecisive about small things like tonight I couldn’t decide if I was too tired to go out or not 😩
Go out.
but what if my gut says 😵💫
So what?
But my gut says nothing 🤪 How to identify gut feeling
