Maybe people need to quit using this cruise line. I will never use them because of this

This is why I choose a different cruise line. I went to Princess. They have never cancelled my cruises I have had with them no matter what time of the year!!

First dinner on my cruise I asked for a second entree and was surprised when they brought it no questions. Being 6'2" 250 I could, and still can, eat a horse. So next night I asked for a third...and once again no problem. Everyone at the table was getting a kick out of it so next night...yeah, went for four. This was met with hesitation...and next thing you now some of the kitchen staff is at the table. They wanted to meet the big eater. But I got four entrees.

Got upgraded on the Norwegian Getaway from a studio to a large inside. Which ordinarily would have been nice had I not been directly UMDER the theater. 😂 I didn’t need to attend a show. I had a front row ticket.

No way. The chef table involves a lot of planning and most have a wait list of people who want to attend. Those folks need proper notice to attend. Personally I never been to a chef table on a sea day. But if I were I would adjust my schedule. We have 360 reservation on a port day we switched our activities to avoid any hiccups

Those ships are being redeployed to other regions because Norwegian has determined the Middle East and Africa itineraries are becoming too dangerous.

We were on a cruise and they had the bed loungers with cushions. There was a couple in one and the one next to them had towels and bags on it. I sat it one next to that one. 45 minutes goes by and nobody shows up. Then I hear the husband tell the wife to remove the stuff from the "saved" lounger. It was their stuff all this time. REALLY?????? As for the dogs, are they sanitizing all the rooms where these dogs have been?? The next cruisers may be allergic to dogs, like my wife, and unknowingly are staying in this room.

Oh I would be SO MAD all the planning and sleepless nights and research I've been doing in these last 2 weeks for my cruise in March and may 2025 I would be so hurt if either one of them was canceled right now

1. Is it too much to ask for a company to have a broad replacement itinerary ready when they announce a cancellation? Would just seem like good organisation and PR. 2. And yeah, what use is a 10% discount when prices are increasing by 20-30%? Besides, where are they supposed to take advantage of it without replacement itineraries?

No it's not too strict. Think of all the food that had to be sourced, the staffs labour's payments, the entertainment that goes with the event. This is just click baiting wanting to tarnish the liners reputation. 😢😢

48 hours is a long time. With passengers coughing and not covering their mouths, others can become ill quickly.

No, just because they didn't go, doesn't mean that it wasn't ready for them. Cancelation policy is more than fair.

I always wear a suit on formal nights. We take lots of pics on formal night. I love it

I believe people need to stop feeling like they’re entitled about every little thing! You had reservations, you knew what day it was for, you made poor decisions and now suck it up and move forward! Stop crying about it!

I think 48-hour notice is fair, but at the same time I would expect that the customer service manager would do a little something. Offer them some bar credit or something else like that.

"Too tired" is NOT a refundable reason for cancelling anything, YOU KNEW you had that scheduled so you should have paced yourself for it! You didn't, so now take responsibility for YOUR OWN ACTIONS!

I think 24 hours is more fair, we didn’t even get notified of our chefs table dining until the day before. I also think that’s a ridiculous excuse. I think exceptions should be made in certain circumstances.

Cancellation time depends on the length of the voyage. If the event was on the 5th or 6th day, yes it’s ample time.

No. If they knew they were going to spend the day whooping it up in port, they should have canceled their dining experience. It boils down to knowing what the fine print says.

It's bad enough they allow so called service animals other than seeing eye dogs.. If a person is mentally unstable to the point they can't be without a dog for a few days. I'm not sure being stuck in the middle of the ocean is a good thing.

Seriously, you catch a virus that you know is often carried on cruise ships and think you can sue. Good luck with that.
