i was very interested in this until I saw the price. GTFOH. For $70 bucks more you can get the old 99 V mount battery. I am a bit tired of companies - like SmallRig in particular - price gouging us becasue they know we are a very invested and forward thinking community as photographers/videographers. The sad part is I have the money to get it, but when i know you are trying to milk me I have to draw the line. Smh.

This lens on the Sony A74, Nikon Z5 and Canon R7 and Canon C70 is awesome. I intend to purchase the DSLR Version of this Tamron 35-150mm which is a F2.8-F4

Chiming in to say that there are real negatives to the cheaper NPF batteries on Amazon. I had one blow up while charging and start a fire. If my neighbor wasn't home, I would have lost everything. There are risks to using any lithium battery, but look for the UL mark, unplug if it's getting hot, and use a flameproof charging case wherever possible. I have several Smallrig products and their build quality does lead me to believe they are safer than any random cheap battery. Would still use it with caution.

Can someone help. All I hear is the c70 is better in the shadows and the dog makes it way better. How are you working with the C200 to keep shadows clean and allow highlight recovery.

Can you charge it while it's being used? Like a dummy battety so it's like your camera is plugged in?

It's nice, but it's shocking that I can get a 200Wh V-mount battery on AliExpress with all the usual safety in it and much better ports and for around $90.

So how might one reduce the digital sharpness that this has recorded in post? Gausian blur?

Regarding to the duo usb-c I would love this and I would go even further and hope that usb-c will replace the hdmi port with protocols like thunderbolt there is no technical argument against it in data transfer speed and imho there are only positive effects like smaller ports and cables and ofc only one type of cable to care and carry around

Just the lens. The lens is as $18,000 75mm Kowa 2x anamorphic, rehoused by P+S TECHNIK. Glass has always been more important once you cover the basics. (4k 12bit Raw or better) if it was a 16:9 aspect ratio on spherical it wouldn’t have been anywhere near as cool. But Despite this. I bought the fucking FX3 because of this

man, I never thought about using a speed booster on a full frame camera to take advantage of the faster readout times! The s35 mode on the 6kFF is BETTER than the 6k Pro with sensor readout times, too. Thanks for the great video

I power the monitor with a V mount but use regular batteries... Much better workflow. I feel that there aren't many FX3 usb C locking options. So you'll have a lot of people jamming their in camera USB C ports by using this method.

I bought a Sirui C60B instead. Thje Sirui has a real Bowens mount, and a full size reflector that creates even lighting. It doesn't have the battery issues and doesn't need a battery cord. It has a more quiet fan, and it comes in a much nicer case. The Sirui is more expensive, but the Amaran 60X requires you to buy a full size reflector, a Bowen's adaptor, and comes in an inferior case. The only bad point of the Sirui is the plastic handle it comes with (too weak and too plastic), so I needed to buy an metal umbrella mount instead. The Amaran's handle costs extra to get. Thx for the good review.

Good day hope your doing well, You are able to change almost all the buttons on the camera to custom set buttons, I set the front button next to the lens an a operation lock button which would fix your lack of lock dial issue. I shot on Sony A7iv and A7siii from November to late April and honestly I loved to Sony Ecosystem but I will always be a Panasonic user because of the colors and stabilization. I currently own the s5iiX and I've been loving it. You actually taught me something regarding the 3k opengate for high frame rate. Thank you so much.

Somy does offer those thing, either via firmware update aka new bodies or only of their R models. One of my biggest regrets was going with Sony
