Since ebay now has automatic bidding I will be reducing my auctions buying by about 90%. I am going in the direction of buy it now items. Auctions take to much time and then the automatic winner can refuse to pay. That has happened to me lately. My time has value to me.

I’m currently experiencing this situation as a seller. I have yet call eBay, I do that next. My situation is I have hold on my account for “item not delivered”. But I have delivery confirmation. / I was concerned right away when I sold item to the buyer. This buyer had a brand new account less than 30days old. 0 feedback and today they still have 0 feedback on their account . This knew could be trouble for item costing less than $20, that I only making $3 on. They filed this complaint on me 10 days after item was delivered and left me negative feed back. If the buyer wants their money back, offer 30 day free returns. This case is still pending. (eBay use have a feature for setting the minimum buyers rating you are willing to sell to, they need to bring this feature back. It had options too not sell to anybody with a 1 or 0 feedback.)

This just happened to me, Tracking shows arrived but the buyer stated never received the item.

So I just fixed it. Another commenter had mentioned turning off Samsung engine for the voice to text and using the Google engine. This works although now the microphone goes off really quickly

No, now it puts a punctuation and the words full stop.... it's worse

Can you add tracking without purchasing the shitty..woops I mean shipping label? That's all I want to know, because I never put tracking on my items, they are all usually under $20.

There's a lot deeper and sinister things going behind the scenes here... A lot of times these non-paying buyers snipe the auction at last second using a burner account. Like 4 feedbacks or less. They do this to prevent or delay your item selling so that their exact same item can have a chance to sell for a higher price. In other words, they kill their competition and it really sucks. It sucks because eBay wont let you re-list your item to try again for 5, count 'em, 5 days ! Your non-paying sniper then has a chance to sell their competing item for a much higher price. They know you can't re-list....Perhaps we can re-list and let the other (unpaid) item just clock out over time and then end it. But then Ebay charges a FVF anyway if we dont re-list. An example of this is autograph (signed) photo of a celebrity. A celeb signs 20 -30 maybe 100 items. Everyone tries to sell them at once for a wide range of prices. The ones who want to sell their autograph item for ridiculous high prices will snipe and buy all the eBay auctions that are being sold for the lowest prices with burner eBay accounts. It's a real problem.

Hello what do I do if a "power buyer" messages me everyday demanding I leave him feedback on a purchase he made from me? Literally everyday I get a message from him, saying I don't see my feedback? Advice?

Mines a little more unique. At first he contacted me and told me that he didn’t receive anything despite it saying it was delivered. Then he opened a dispute and took a picture of an empty envelope with the shipping label I printed out shoddily taped onto an envelope and I noticed the little red letters “Received Without Contents”. 1.) I shipped a BOX with a 9 lb omnibus inside of it. Shouldn’t USPS have weighed it before shipping it that way I have proof? There’s definitely video of me shipping the box. 2.) I also bought tape and taped said box in front of the woman and she asked me if there was a book inside because I was shipping with Media Mail. I don’t feel like she’d ask me that if I mailed an empty envelope. 3.) Who stamped that “Received Without Contents”? If USPS stamped that and still gave it to him, shouldn’t that be on them? I really feel like he’s lying and just ripped off the shipping label and taped it onto a used envelope. Do you think eBay will see through this?

How do you decide whether to do auction or bin? Also, how do you decide what amount to start the auction at.. Thank you very much.

How does this work for eBay standard envelope? There is no actual USPS tracking number that I can find as the seller.

Wish I sent the message you suggested, but I’m so worried about negative feedback that I gave them the “I’m here to help” tone. Told them I reached out to the post office. Hi I placed an item on eBay for a friend as a auction and listed it for $149.99 and received a offer of $750 . I gladly accept it and inform the owners of the item thinking that they would be happy . Now they are angry and threatening to sue me and are demanding that I return the item as they paid far more and knew that at auction it would sell for around $ 8000.00 as it was a signed copy of the book of Mormon that was signed by Brigham Young and numbered as only 50 copies made . I have confirmed that by contacting the Mormon church and they would easily offer 10,000 dollars . The owner is elderly and cannot walk or operate a computer so I am scared. It's in bad shape and I was not told it was priceless I would like to cancel it and just give it back to her, she's a patient of my sister who is a home health aide.Can I cancel the sale ?

On Samsung voice input it doesn't work. Only Google voice input does punctuations. However, that's for this video as the "full stop" works great on Google voice input. I'm not sure if it's a bug in the Samsung voice input or whether Samsung keyboard just does not support voice input with punctuation.

I just watch the video on dictation issue. Mine was the whole punctuation was nor working. I read into the comments , i found a solution , i am going to test now

7:27 Got a good chuckle out of the second to last exampl where you "replied" to the poster: "Yes, you did EVERYTHING wrong there." 😂😂😂 Not only should the seller have eaten the shipping cost as a lesson learned, but he also should have compared shipping rates prior to mailing and known the EXACT weight, measurements, and box it was going to be shipped in. When you walk into a UPS or USPS store to mail something, you're instantly charged RETAIL rates. There is no commercial discount available like there is on some eBay accounts or Pirate Ship! 🤷🏼‍♀️

None of this was working but I figured it out. Go into settings. Search for keyboard list and default. Make sure Samsung voice input is off. And turn Legacy off. Google Voice typing is on.

Thank you for this informative information. I have a buyer stating they did not receive the item after it shows delivered in mailbox. This is the first occurrence after shipping out 1800 packages on Ebay through USPS. The buyer is upset and I can tell by the messages he is hoping I will just issue him a $60 refund. Not happening. I shipped the item out thr next day with tracking. He will be a repeat violater to other sellers if he is lying ( which he probably is) so I'm firm on not issuing a refund. I offered to file a USPS claim on his behalf after the required time frame and advised him to go into USPS to inquire where his package is. ( more than likely its at his house)

I’m so glad I just stumbled across this video. I just started selling on eBay maybe three ago I have already sold three idol but they have limited to. I think 400 or $500 cash or a total of 100 item or a high dollar tool tool couple of items made up all when I’m able to sell or list for the month. I tried to get an increase but got the it’s been less than 45 days so unfortunately your limits cannot be increased yet. No one has left me feedback either.
