@@thisishazno8536 I updated it normally. all speakers work on Bluetooth, but in the surround only the external and upper ones. Maybe this is how it should be?

@@AndreyN1971 Yeah that is one of the reasons i dont like the Era 300s. Sonos decided to turn of the front drivers when they are connected as surround. Which for me is really dumb, and i dont know why Sonos decided that. I wouldve loved if that was an option for us users to decide if we want to turn that of or not.

@@thisishazno8536 I confused everyone))) I know that the front one is disabled in the surround. I don't have sounds that are directed into my ears, parallel to the wall.

@@AndreyN1971 hahaha sorry then i misunderstood what you meant. But i have another viewer writing about the same issue so what i will do cause i havent used my era 300s as surround in a few weeks. I will do a test on them tomorrow to see if mine has the same issue and get back to you

Totally agree my friend i didnt experience any bad things aswell with the new app. Just the volume thing but even that one was a minor set back like you pointed out. Other than that no issues what so ever. Glad to hear that you are enjoying the new app.

Thanks for watching, yeah i can totally understand that. I sent mine back to and will probably do a video about why in my next one. The mids are definitley one of the issues and bass was really low even if i pushed the EQ on bass to +10 it didnt make any difference in the sound.

Thanks for watching, that is one of the biggest issue with Sony playstation. Sony will allways make it as hard as possible to have a mic connected via headphones cause they are like Apple, they want you to buy their own pair of headphones with built in mic. I had the same issue with the airpods max as i have with the Sonos Ace. I dont think you will be able to use the mic from the headphones just from the controller. But you could try a lavalier microphone and see. Maybe it will work

Thanks for watching, you can have them in the same room and use them at the same time but not have them set in the same group when connected to the app. But you can group the speakers if you want but that will not allways sound good. But to answer your question yes you can group arc and beam together but i have never tested that and i dont know how good that will sound.

Called Sonos yesterday they went into the system and updated it. Agent said I should be good guess we will see lol they have good customer service I have to admit

Like we all like different stuff and if i like to watch my stuff at +10 on subs then let me do that. But i love when people enjoy their stuff to the fullest like you do. I watched the new Godzilla minus one on netflix on +8 on subs i will tell you DAMN! Give that a go if you havent seen it yet

Thanks for watching, haha yeah but keep in mind i dont use 95% of any of the features that they have taken away. I use the app to control the speakers and volume nothing else. Or yes i have started to use the alarm feature which is pretty good actually. But i feel you guys frustration its not like i dont know about the problems. I even explained why i think the new app is good but you guys still hate me for it 🙏

@@thisishazno8536 Ha! No worries brother, no hate toward you or even the speakers themselves. Just the app. Literally, my speakers won’t connect now and I have around 10. Worked fine previously. It’s maddening. Hope they sort this out soon. I can’t do a whole summer with no music. I throw a lot of pool parties. 😂

haha then i get you brother i also felt frustration cause i couldnt connect my Era 300s or Sonos Fives as surround speakers. Damn, now that i understand cause that would make me mad to. What speakers do you use for music?

I didnt actually pay attention to that. I will try that out today and give you an answer on that.

@@thisishazno8536 thanks for the reply! Even After the update of the app and speakers it was so bad last night. Basically unusable. Not recognizing subs, cutting out,music out of sync, not loading Apple Music playlists etc. restart and use Airplay and that worked. On your question I sure do wish the Lock Screen or volume buttons control would be brought back. Been awhile since they removed that. Nice to see the 0-100 numbers back at least! Overall still a mess!

@@DavidJohnson-np6io yeah i feel you frustration then my friend, but hopefully all those features will be back soon. But when the system doesnt recognize a speaker or sub thats more frustrating cause i have seen alot of people with the same issue. Its a shame an update has made it so bad for Sonos. Yeah the volume control buttons is something i would love to see back on the new app aswell.

@@thisishazno8536 100% agreed!! when they work well the multi room Sonos are great. As you mentioned it’s hard in the Ace PS5 test it’s to beat a wired connection! Unless the wires get cut lol. I have a Small McIntosh system in the kitchen/dining area and a 14-18 yr old 7.1 Pioneer Elite / Definitive Tech “wired” system with Dual powered subs and all my old gear just works when you play it! The Sonos is definitely more convenient but not lately unfortunately! Thanks for all your great content and reply’s to us your fans and subscribers my friend

Thanks for watching, it depends on the bluetooth. Its easier to connect to icloud devices more than back to the ps5. But connecting back to ps5 it takes som manually repairing

@@thisishazno8536 ah thanks! Wish the ps5 supported Bluetooth headphones like the switch since it switches back and forth easily

@@matthewburno Yeah wish that too, they have their own headphones but they are not that comfortable. But Airpods max wired to the controller is amazing, but im with you wireless for gaming makes it easy.

@@thisishazno8536 yeah I’d probably do wired in for the AirPods Max because manually pairing again gets annoying 😂
