I updated no problem went smooth hallo my friend Thisishazno please when you contact sonos ask them about volume % i find it frustrating sliding volume without knowing what percent is the volume.
Thanks for watching, yeah i know my friend that part i agree it was a good feature to see the volume level and quick access to EQ but Sonos says they dont know about that part, they say that they will give the feedback to the people in charge. Lets hope they will add that in the near future 🙏
Thank you for trying it first. With what happened to you, I won't risk updating to avoid future problems. I'd rather wait another month for Sonos to make the necessary fixes. Luckily, I have a spare iPhone with the old version, otherwise I'd be lost.

Also I hope Sonos adds support for hight speakers that would be awesome then we could add x4 or x6 in ceiling speakers depending on the size of the ur room and use them as hight speakers. My ultimate Sonos setup would have x1 arc x2 gen 3 or gen 4 sub, x2 era 300 & x4 8inch in-ceiling speaker as my hight channels

I dont get why they got rid of volume numbers but they will fix everything we just have to have a little patience they did the same error going from S1 to S2. Yeah i think something like that will come when they drop Arc gen 2 and Era 500s but that would be pretty awesome
here is the fix for true play . play a song from your sonos app then pause it 15 seconds while playing, then go to true play tab and start your true play set up and it works..let me know how you made out . great video good job
I just purchased a new Sub Gen 3 to add to my other sub in my system I updated the Sonos app & its a complete nightmare , it was impossible to connect the sub - Like you I am contacting SONOS first thing in morning if I have no joy in setting this up I am returning my new Sub back to the retailer where I purchased it , I have already emailed the retailer & explained my issues . SONOS is an absolute Joke when trying to set up new equipment , why oh why would they turn customers agains them like this ? ? - They are going the same way as APPLE , they are only interested in selling more kit & forget customer service ! !
Thanks for watching, yeah it was really frustrating. But i managed to fix my issue. Try this, I factory reset my Arc and then hardwired it with my router. After that all my speakers are working without any problems now. My Sonos Arc was messing things up and my setup wanted one of the speakers wired with network cable. So i did that and now i can connect my surround sound back again. Try it and keep me posted if that doesnt work 🙏
Did you connect to surround sound yet? This Christmas I am planning on buying the same setup as you through Costco, for the return policy. Ohh !With only 1 sub.

I know what's wrong my stored I went through with the 300s pairing issue when pairing them back as surrounds you need to go to add the 300s and when it's in pairing mode you need to click on the right speaker on the app which is highlighted with the green circle around it and it will connect and if you have issues hmu and I will walk you through it

@@alamoody3668 I realised I was still on 80.00.04 intead of 08. The app said it was up to date, but I forced an update from the Play store. Alarms is now back in!
i dont know why but when i updated to the newest update , my sub gen 3 is dissconected and i can't find him at all , i try to reset app , reset router , reset sub gen 3 , reset the arc .. nothing work :[
I have a idia what about what happened With the Sonos speaker setup It seems it is indeed a network issue Somehow my Sonos arc connected to 5 ghz network But the rear speakers got confused and connected to 2.4 ghz 😂 So of course you could make a stereo pair but no connection to the arc
Thanks for watching, thanks for the input but i managed to fix the issue with my speakers. It was my Arc that was ghosting me and i had to factory reset my Arc and then hardwire it. It now works without any problem. But yes i agree most of the time its a network issue 🙂

The Sonos app is a joke. All my NAS music is no longer accessible.. I really hate Sonos now. Its so fuck-up.....Whoever approved this update should be fired....

After that all my speakers are working without any problems now. My Sonos Arc was messing things up and my setup wanted one of the speakers wired with network cable. Hi @ThisisHazno Have you tried connecting your Era300s as surrounds wirelessly? It seems they're hardwired like your 500s.

Alarm is available under your system. Click your system you'll see it. I too using android phone.
