Whoever approved this app update should be fired immediately. On my Galaxy S23 Ultra the app no longer works and is a blank screen. On my iPhone 15 Pro...the app can't find my system. Sonos needs to fix this mess asap

Why? Why? Why? Would you get rid of the volume slider % and the EQ??? And yes add the - and + on the ends of the volume slider. Come on Sonos. Common sense.

Same problem with the new v8.0 on iOS: *True Play setup is stuck at "Continue"*. Once the phone is upside down and ready to listen to the sonar pings -> nothing happens, no pings, no option to move forward/backward. What an utter disaster !
@@thisishazno8536I think the issue Rayjay refers to is the *setup* of TruePlay. If your Sonos system was already setup for TruePlay *prior to the update*, you could be fine ?
@@ericpb6589 i will try the Trueplay and make a video on that. I havent really done the Trueplay since i added my Era 300s for surround. I will get back to you guys if i have the same issue

Yeah i know but what worked for me is that i now have to have one of the speakers wired, after that ive had no issues connecting to Sonos app. Have you tried that? Yes Sonos did the same thing going from S1 app to S2 app and still didnt learn from their mistakes.

It is not only what is missing, this app is super slow and the features they kept are hard to find or now requires multiple screens to access them. The old version was good and NOBODY was asking to change it completely. SONOS if you are planning to launch new pricey speakers this year then this was a very stupid move pissing all the people who spend their hard money buying and upgrading your speakers

@@thisishazno8536 In the FB Sonos Group someone posted that if you are running music through your system prior to starting Trueplay that TP will actually run. I tried it with one of my Pandora Channels and it worked on both of my home theatre set-ups. Sonos will eventually get things sorted.
This new app is a major step backwards - kind of surprising that it is released???? I have 9 speakers and he old app worked fine - to play different music on different floors. This new app is so complex to try to select different speakers - and then have it work. I get a lot of ERROR messages. And to individually adjust volume is a hit and miss. We have two newer iPhones - and we have to hit the volume buttons some 6-7 times to get a response from this new app. (its as if the screen does not feel the touch) The old app had no such problems. PLEASE BRING THE OLD APP BACK !! Last 7 years I have got my friends into SONOS - this app will stop me recommending SONOS. Please do something rational here. !!!

There is some way to go back to the old version, i read something on reddit. Have you googled to see if that is possible?
WHY IS THIS TAKING SO LONG! THERE SHOULD BE A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST THIS COMPANY. Customers purchasing speakers, and the music will not continue to play without finagling the settings only for it to stop playing, again!

It wont even let you add music to playlists. Its also slower than before. I cant believe they havent just admitted it was a mistake and said they will fix the core features FIRST.
Sonos will never admit that which is pretty weird. They did the same going from S1 to S2 and now this, and i agree they shouldve admitted their mistake. But instead they are ready to lose costumers
This update is so pathetic! I'll never again buy another Sonos product. Customer service is a nightmare. Looking for an alternative system. I really regret buying these speakers. Sonos sucks!

...an epic disaster. Been fighting for a few daze...luckily, my iPad had Auto-Update disabled. S2 is so nice.

I have changed router and it is impossible to add update can't even open Sonos doesn't work at all can't access speakers/ update app or use old app.

Same issue here! When Iphone is upside down and click continue nothing happens. Hope this will be fixed in the next update
