    3:30 pause at the face, why does the CX look way better?

      @thisishazno8536  11 дней назад

      Thanks for watching, i have been meaning to do another video on this. But i returned the C3 83 after 3 weeks of tests. Like you say the CX looks better, but i think Oled needs some watch time and the picture quality gets better after some watch time. But i will test the C4 or the G4 for this year and see if those are a step better. CX was OLED tv of the year 2020 when i bought it.

  • @matthew6994
    @matthew6994 4 месяца назад +1

    I use the CX - love it and have had zero issues (since using service remote to eradicate auto dimming issues) - I will wait until this TV fails before upgrading as i can't see much of a performance jump in picture quality to justify purchasing a new LG OLED

    • @thisishazno8536
      @thisishazno8536  4 месяца назад +1

      Thanks for watching, yeah im gonna be honest but i returned the C3 im gonna wait for the 83 G4 to come with MLA and upgrade to that instead. For now the CX is holding up amazingly against the new C3 so no need to upgrade to that yet. Yeah i would do the same i compared the both and in some movies and tv shows the CX was even better than the C3 🙂

    I have an 77C1 and love the picture quality; EXCEPT, during really dark night scene with a lot of shadows for dramatic effects (Game of Thrones battle Season 8 Episode 3) My 77C1 OLED had a hard time keeping up after setting it to Vivid, maxing out brightness, watching after 9pm, and turning off all lights in the room. Could you try on the 77 and 83 to see how it compares (I think you can find this scene on RUclips)?

      @AmazikGezk 5 месяцев назад +1

      That’s the ASBL kicking in, you can disable this on the service menu with a service remote. Did that on my CX and I no longer have weird dimming on really dark scenes.

    What’s the picture quality difference in HDR and Dolby Vision ?

    • @thisishazno8536
      @thisishazno8536  6 месяцев назад +2

      Thanks for watching, the quality difference isnt much in HDR and dolby. I would say that the biggest difference is the brightness, C3 has around 30% more brightness. But in quality overall with dolby and hdr its not that wow difference. Pretty much the same quality for now. But as you know tvs get better over time to "break" in.

    I’m actually really happy with all my OLEDS
    C8 65, C9 65, CX 77, C1, 55 x2, C1 48, C2 42, and my mother has an old C7 55 of mine and they are all still amazing and apart from game mode there’s not much difference at all.
    So it’s the first time in years I won’t be upgrading for at least another 3-4 years .
    However if the G2 or G3 was a great deal at 77 or 83 I may consider replacing my 77 living room and putting that tv in the summerhouse …

    • @mrgold3591
      @mrgold3591 6 месяцев назад +2

      My first OLED was the 55C9 that replaced my 125lbs 58" Panasonic plasma. Haven't regretted the upgrade with the improvement in picture quality, super wide viewing angle, almost 100lbs less weight, less power, wall/stand mounting flexibility, and smart functions. I've since added 77C1, 55C1, and 48C2. The only downside are the tiny speakers compared to my much larger Plasma (soundbar at a minimum is almost a must).

    • @thisishazno8536
      @thisishazno8536  6 месяцев назад +2

      Thanks for watching, haha damn thats alot of oled. Yeah i had the C6 totally loved it then i went for the E8 65 and then for the 77 CX which i had for 4 years now. So true apart from the Game optimizer in the new C3 there is not more of a difference. I compared the two tvs for the past week now and CX still puts out amazing picture quality. Here in sweden the G2 77 is at 2600 dollars brand new. But i dont have a good wall to wall mount my tvs.

      @@mrgold3591 yea I agree with that about the speakers, all mine have Sonos arc or beams as standard just to get some good sound out of them.
      I originally brought a C7 55 just to test the technology out and literally one week later replaced my pioneer Kuro in the living room with the 65”C8 ( that’s how amazing I thought the tech was ) then brought a 65 C9 in the garage ( gaming room for series x and PS5 ) as It was the first tv to have nvidia vision and 4k and I wanted to check it out for my pc.
      Then I moved house and my 65c8 looked small, so in with the 77cx 😂
      Then I needed a new one to replace my C7 for my pc so I brought a C1 55” and ended up smashing it moving house !!! So insurance sent me one and I had 2 replacements 😂 then it was two big big for desktop so I replaced with 48c1 and eventually A 42c2 and that’s it !!! No more 😂

      @@thisishazno8536 I bought an LG C3 83" yesterday for 35285 SEK (~$3 433). I saw your video today and I immediately cancelled my order. I guess I will live with my 50" Panasonic Plasma for one more year. Feels like the G4 83" is a rather big jump compared to the C3 83".
      * MLA technology
      * New alfa-processor
      * 144 Hz (not a big step, but worth mentioning)
      Are there more reasons to wait?
      Not sure I did the right thing as I do not have a 77" CX to fall back on. Maybe I should have bought the 77" C3 and then sell it in October. Not sure! 😅

      sorry for the late reply but youtube doesnt notify me when i get a new comment/answer. But yeah i was not satisfied with what i got from the C3 and returned it. I will wait for the G4 83 to get MLA and then take a test on that cause i was honestly more satisfied with my CX quality wise than the C3.
      Yeah those are totally good reasons to wait for the next gen but C4 wont get MLA either for next gen its only G "class" that will get that. But yeah the g4 is 2000 dollars more than the C4 when you go for the 83 so it is a big jump. Or maybe wait for the G3 77 to get on a really good discount. This blackfriday you could get the G2 77 for 2800 dollars which is a good price for the g class.
