Happy to see this video return, lets hope it stays on RUclips. Anyway the episode was great; It takes a simple idea, Ren & Stimpy in the Army, and runs with it. I love the animation; it's the first episode (to air) that Rough Draft animated, and it's definitely one of their best, with how smooth & energetic it is. Ren's decent into insanity was done well, it shows you why he lost his mind and the payoff, the "No Sleep" bit, was great. So overall, a strong underrated gem. 9/10

This show definitely would've benefited with more snappier spacing like those Mickey Mouse shorts

I like Stimpy's voice in the earlier episodes. The dopey, lower voice makes his lines funnier to me.

This was the first episode i saw as a kid and since theen, I've rewatched it over a thousand times

They should have shown more of the cute blonde girl. Why not? 😢 Imagine if she saw his turd. How would she react? Why does she have big boobs?.

DUDE I WATCHED YOU BACK IN LATE 2022/EARLY 2023 WHEN YOU WERE AT THE END OF SEASON 2 AND STOPPED WATCHING YOUR VIDS (Because I couldn't find them) NOW YOU REVIEWED THE WHOLE 5 SEASONS AND ADULT PARTY CARTOON. DAMN.

Just got a Ren and Stimpy first and second seasons DVD 😃

The thing that intrigues me the most about this episode is the ambiguity. Like is the chicken itself really alive and in love with Stimpy? Or has Stimpy lost his marbles/is hallucinating and believes it to be a sentient being? Like it seems to me that Stimpy is the only one who sees the chicken as being alive and in love, while to Ren, it’s just a dead raw bird that’s meant to be eaten. Like it’d be funnier if Ren at one point tries to get Stimpy admitted to a hospital for his delusions while Stimpy stubbornly believes that Chicken is really alive and that they are in love.

Okay, so I stumbled upon this while searching APC, and I gotta say, I loved your recaps. First off, I've always seen the footage of APC in reviews, but almost never hear the audio, so you actually providing clips with the audio was great, cause I mean, I always wanted to hear the dialogue and sounds, see if they're really that bad, and I can defiantly say...ehhh. Also, I love how you review these in a much more calmer and mature way, compared to some reviewers I've seen. It's nice to see someone have positive things to say about a cartoon, even if it's really bad.

This episodes timing is all over the place but it's still funny

Feel like they should've built up Stimpy missing Ren. It just seems like they rushed to wrap the episode up

The concept would've been better if the dark humor was done with a sense of irony and exaggeration. Like instead of him doing actual psychotic, depraved things growing up, he instead does cartoony maniacal acts. The original show would've done that in way more entertaining and wittier fashion. This is just shock value and not even good shock humor.

I would put a “A Visit to Anthony” at the bottom, not just because it’s one of the worst “Spumco” Ren and Stimpy shorts, but it felt as unhinged as John K. himself, and it felt like belongs in “Adult Party Cartoon”. For how mean-spirited it is.
