I think one reason why they had a lot of Wilbur Cobb. I heard on a commentary that the producers thought that the voice actor Jack Carter was down on his luck financialy so they had him appear in a lot of cartoons that really didn't need his character.

Im having even bigger copyright issues with APC. It literally took me almost 100 edits to get the first episode cleared but Ren Seeks Help keeps getting blocked for using 7 seconds of the episode so I am not sure if Im gonna be able to get it up

Agreed, I was pleased that you chose the order where it ends with The Last Temptation instead of A Scooter for Yaksmas, as The Last Temptation is one of my favourite episodes of Season 5 and, in my view, ending the show on a high. Looking forward to seeing what you think of the Adult Party Cartoon.
This episode actually first aired on MTV in 1996, not 2003. Maybe you confused it with Man's Best Friend first airing in '03?

Ren and stimpy theory: I was looking at Ren’s outfit he’s wearing when he’s talking to Stimpy by the swimming pool, and it looks pretty similar to the mummified bog man from Hermit Ren.
Then, thinking about the religious subtext of this episode, I started to wonder if perhaps this Ren is that mummy before he died, and if the characters have some weird version of reincarnation, an explanation for why they have so many episodes in different timelines and often end up dying.
But hey, that’s just a theory. A REN AND STIMPY theory!

The last temptation is a good episode. The first half of the episode is really good; it has an amazing plot that really keeps you engaged in the episode, I enjoyed Wilbur Cobbs appearance and the heaven scene as a whole, it is visually pleasing, and has a few funny moments. While second half of the episode is ok, but I did enjoy some parts of it like how ren is trying to be a buddha and a couple of visuals.
The problem with the second half is that it gets repetitive and boring where ren is suffering not choosing to engage in the luxury of having fun and stimpy is having the time of his life, like I feel like they are repeating the same jokes and it made me dislike ren for how he is acting in the second half of the episode.
The is ending is shitty way to end an episode. I hated that in the end ren didn’t learn anything chose wealth over his best friend and Willbur made it worse by being a dick and stealing all of their possessions because ren didn’t learn anything about being good. Its so infuriating and ruined my enjoyment from the episode and what made it worse is that this is the final episode that I watched from the ren and stimpy show. But the first half of the episode and its animation carried the episode for me and it outweighed the episodes disadvantages. all in all a good episode 6.5 or 7/10.

I would suggest that you have a extremely strong stomach when it comes to the APC. Especially the episode onwards and upwards. It literally made my stomach turn as completely gross as they tried to be in the cartoon.

While generally seen as a virtue, this episode paints Ren's temperance in the opposite light, as being arduous and unfulfilling, while Stimpy's overindulge in worldly pleasures is painted as being exciting and valuable.
Overall though, a very enjoyable episode, I think.
A good episode to end the original series; It's fitting to have Ren try and change his ways. Also the animation was pretty smooth, the backgrounds (specifically as ren enters Heaven) looked great and the music cues compliment the scenes pretty well
I do agree the second half could've been stronger; It would've been nice to see Ren struggle with being a good person, and Stimpy getting greedier and less caring as the episode went on. Also, it wasn't to funny and I didn't like the facial expressions.
Overall; a solid way to end the show, though it could've been better. I'll give it an 8/10

Yup, you finally did all 5 seasons of the original series. Now can you please move onto the APC(Adult Party Cartoon) version? I think I know it’s been given so much crap in the not-so-recent past, but I love the animation, acting, and art direction and the expressive drawings and cartooning.

Well it was a good run. Ren and Stimpy got chewed up, spat out, run over, and hit several hard bumps along the way, but they made it across the finish line alright. A decent end to an otherwise spectacular cartoon…
And then there’s APC.
This is the weirdest episode. Stimpy and Ren are twins? Stimpy is into women? Wilbur mows lawns for Mr Pipe in heaven? It’s a great episode with good close ups art. Sad that it was the last one. I give it a low 8/10.
